I immigrated to Canada as a health care worker on a skilled immigration but there was no jobs available. It was a night mare. All healthcare workers say that CANADA IS A GRAVE YARD FOR SKILLED HEALTH CARE WORKER.

Before Trudeau we had Harper and the conservatives and they were in charge when we had a great financial collapse of 2008. It doesn’t matter who you pick the results will be the same
Yeah, it's a real struggle. With the rising housing prices and stagnant wages, it's becoming increasingly difficult for many to afford homes, let alone save for retirement.
Absolutely. And with the fear of not being able to retire comfortably, people might be tempted to make risky investments or neglect proper financial planning, which could spell trouble for their portfolios in the long run.
It's a vicious cycle. If people can't afford homes, they might delay retirement savings, but if they focus solely on saving for retirement without considering their housing situation, they might miss out on potential investment opportunities.
And let's not forget how the global economy plays into all of this. Economic instability, inflation, and market fluctuations can further complicate matters and add to people's financial worries.
It's crucial for individuals to diversify their portfolios, seek professional financial advice, and stay informed about market trends to navigate these challenges effectively.
Wait til the next Government comes in. The housing bubble, immigration bubble, employment bubble, Healthcare bubble ect... all of them will pop. Hard times are coming.
I have a condo just got built near my house. It's all rental property In Mississauga. It's mostly empty because they are charging $2,500 + for a one bedroom
i live in a rental in North Vancouver for the last 12 years. They made 2 purpose built rental buildings down the road. They were finished over a year ago and STILL HAVE SPACES AVAILABLE. $3500 for a 350sqft Absolute insanity. FYI. North Vancouver has a vacancy rate of

He's in the corporate backpocket just like Trudeau is, he couldn't care less about the plebs. NDP is the only ones who could save us, if they get a good leader like Layton again.
Everything has become a nightmare. It is so scary 😨 to see the poor homeless everywhere. 😢 Your analogies are quite entertaining. Here in Vancouver there is a massive sell off of gas ⛽️ stations...soon few and far between, so insane, especially when EVs are becoming less and less desirable.
Another spot-on review. When I hear about this immigration mess I'm always gravitating towards Trudeau. When I think about Trudeau, it reminds me of the movie What about Bob; - When you think Bob is gone, he is never gone! - Hope the ending for us is different than that in the movie.
I might agree with you on rentals but unless you are letting in immigrants with money then immigration is not putting house prices up. Immigration here in South Africa is off the charts from sub-Saharan Africa and house prices are collapsing in Johannesburg and barely holding steady in beautiful Cape Town.

Happy holidays & Merry Christmas Vince. Hope you enjoy the holiday season & may GOD bless you and your family with a prosperous new years. Here's the problem: Previous generations and government have decided that the prosperity of future gens and our national currency will be the sacrificial lamb for high home prices and government spending. You know previous generations and government there's a good book that says don't sacrifice or sell your children to foreign God's or for riches. It's clear previous generations and government don't care about the good book or their own children. Solutions:#1 Canadians sadly will have to leave the country if they want to start a stable family and life. Homes will never be affordable again in Canada #2 Give up & check-out with government help or by yourself #3 Suffer in silence keep paying taxes to a country that doesn't benefit you. Pass away alone with no family when old. Anyhow thanks for time and service it's greatly appreciated keep up the great work.
We need lots of immigration to keep the rents high for landlords. I count on renting apartments to new arrivals at good prices. The government encouraged us to invest in rental housing. Now we need to keep it that way. You can't just pull the rug out now. Or nobody is going to invest in anything in Canada in future.

Healthcare has been in the gutter for over 25 years. We should promote health care jobs for Canadians instead of firing them

Canadians don't need to be competing with immigrants for houses in their own country..not to mention what their causing in cost
They aren’t. You think the Tim Hortons employee out bid you on your house? 🤦♂️
@jeffee1933 mass immigration is the cause of the housing crisis & the reason for price increase due to competition created for a place to live

Except in places like Greater Vancouver, they are making it a headache to be a landlord with all the renting laws.
