- Defeating the boss in the challenge in under 2 min, with a hyper-aggressive playstyle.
Now fantastic game, but.. I need more time to figure out some cancels here and there, to make this gameplay less grounded and much faster.

Fantastic GBG! Playing aggressive in this game is hard as you might accidentally overextend when you already pressed block but I see you found that pulling out the gun is a Animation cancel👀 I never thought of that when I was playing.
Yeah and you can easily get punished if you over input an attack

It's gonna take some getting used they went with a tight combat system usually I'd be a little agitated but I was so impressed with it I keep going and realized it's one of those games where you have to play it like itself I had to stop thinking about bayonetta, dmc and God of war the combat in this is its own thing and eventually I won

The combat is very smooth once you unlock certain skills in the skill tree. The combat puts an emphasis on the parry system especially, but once you unlock more skills the more options for counter attacks grow and the combat becomes smoother as a result.
How did you get the skin suit? Don't see this in the selection...Do you have to do something to unlock it?
In the equipment menu just press the X button on the costume you're currently in to unequip. @d.speedy5083

I spent some hours on this boss trying to defeat it and last night I finally succeeded in doing that it definitely not easy.

What does he mean by the animation count being too slow?
I’ve been trying to figure out a more aggressive playstyle because parrying is boring and slow paced to me. So it looks like you can technically only use dodge during a fight but it’s a bit harder than parrying. Dodge counters though, will interrupt an enemy’s combo and the square counter can increase your attack speed. You can start with an full beta bar and just dodge counter everything. Using reflect dodge counter will break enemy combos apart but uses beta. Beta Charge gear can help keep the beta bar filled. This could make for an even more aggressive playstyle than just sitting there countering the enemy’s full combos. Haven’t really tested how many beta skills you can fit in without depleting your dodge counters though. It’s especially harder because this game is not as responsive to button presses like Rise of the Ronin. I had so many moments where I was like “I pressed the button and nothing happened”
I think the parry timing is a bit earlier than usually in these type of games and basicly every animation beside combo moves and the gun get you stuck so its best to learn the longest combos and only go for the end animation/finisher if you save so you can be more aggressive while being able to react. Also you are kinda right you can just parry and stop the combos on longer pauses, beta skills are superior combo wise though but they also cost 2 bars where parry counters only cost one. Also there is some perfect hitbox stuff in the game. So that you avoid certain patterns with timed combos. For example the 3 triangle combo will make eve jump on the last hits and that basicly avoids every sweep from the side. Which makes that finisher one of the best. There also one where she jump back which can work very similar. Air combos also counter most sweeps and if you charge the triangle air move you can stun him too. There are ways to ignore the parry mechanic but most of the time its better to parry to charge meter.
@@Tmo_201 Yes for sure, I've accidentally avoided attacks by using aerial attacks. It would take a lot of skill to do it purposefully. I'm not used to the combos in this game so I'm primarily just doing the squarex3triangle or trianglex4. Parry is more reliable since like you said it recovers beta. Also if you don't time it perfectly you have imperfect parry that can save you. Dodging + reflection is harder and less reliable because you can get punished for an imperfect dodge and sometimes reflection can jam up for some reason but it's possible and very satisfying to not parry. Hoping for some gear that makes reflection or counterattacks in general not use beta, so that you can use beta skills in tangent with counters, making for some cool staggers and combos.

I think it’s in beta right now but have been seeing people play it on here and it is straight 🔥 bro definitely something I know you would go crazy in….and whats even wilder is that it’s a PC/mobile game but it plays like it’s coming out on consoles thats how good it looks

Guys do not play in resolution mode it feels really sluggish play in performance or balanced the game feels so much better i love resolution mode in games but not this one take if from me i wasnt aware until i put it on after beating this boss many times it feels so much smoother

Okay so it wasn't just me then when it comes to block/parrying to transition attacking then, so there is a bit of a delay between combo animations. Also parrying just don't feel as rewarding here. Odd.

In the first atack (press hold triangle) when press triangle again, for the combo, the boss always damage me. What i'm made wrong?
Press triangle hold and press triangle hold again (whilst you have the meter to burn) she also needs to be red if not it means you won’t stagger or flinch the boss so it can damage you

You are standing in front of the health bar, but man that stalker battle was insane, I tried to beat him with different builds and sometimes I died in less than 1 minute. He is too fast and unfair but i am a very casual gamer, had no issue completing the demo in story mode but if this is a prequel to what the full game will be sorry I won't buy.

he spent like 5 hours trying to perfect this boss in 1 sitting, of course he would've felt a bit burnt out
but he was definitely not getting bored, he was just feeling bad for mistiming his parries and you can see how excited he was getting a no damage on the boss at the end

Epic stuff. The only thing I wonder why no one is using grenades, mines etc in the fight? At least I haven’t seen anyone using them, even though you can do pretty cool combos with some items.

Jokes aside bro that was a beautiful run. I wanna say the main game should be far better with cancels and stuff cuz we will have far more options when it comes to customization, speed improvement etc. I have full faith in this game it wont let us down.
I truly hope she isn’t as heavy as this in the full game but I’m gonna spend some time when I can with the demo so I can see what else there is ☺️
