This game doesn't even have a career mode, it doesn't deserve anything more than a 6. It's just the same races against a whopping 3 AI over and over with no rhyme or reason. Like the other dude said, if you want handheld GT hack your PSP and play GT2 which is much better.
@@Briangibson7825 You must have messed up settings. You can save it like Memory Card style or just exit the app and it saves where you were, if you SHUTDOWN the app it doesnt keep your progress without saving.
I remember just going round that circular track in my veyron again and again as a kid to get money to buy cars😂 I actually loved it because I got to drive loads of cars I’d never seen before so I played it for hours on end and the fact that you had to wait for cars to be on sale meant that I’d constantly be seeing new cars even after playing for a while. For a PSP game it wasn’t that bad

Even though I'm not really one who would support the ports that are so often brought to the Vita, I would *_LOVE_* to see Gran Turismo 6 make it's way to this lovely little handheld! I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I've yet to actually play GT6 but at the same time, I just want a competent racer on my Vita, that would keep me absolutely glued to it for sure.

I love this game for the tracks and for looking and driving cars - the engine sounds are mindblowing with some good headphones - the thing with the changing carage according to days just sucks, but otherwise I enjoy my super cars in there. My latest purchase was the F2007 Ferrai with a topspeed around 340 km/h. With AI cars at S level some tracks are freakin hard to win. Not many games "last forever" as this one.
I finally bought this yesterday! GT for the PSP is AMAZING! You cannot campare the graphic quality based on UA-cam vids either. It's MUCH better on the PSP. So far I'm really liking the game. Yeah, it doesn't have a career mode., but no biggie IMO. Plenty of cars to get and a good selection of tracks to race. I think people are expecting WAY too much from this game. Folks, it's a racing game on a HAND HELD GAME SYSTEM. I think they did a great job for this type of system. User review coming :)
I don't expect any game on the PSP to live up to the extreme potential of their console counterparts. This particular game had been in production for a long time and had been highly anticipated by fans of the title. There had to be compromises to fit it all on to a UMD and I think Polyphony did an awesome job aquiring at least the bare necessities of the game while also inlcuding the jaw dropping stats that come with each GT title.

well i remember borrow in it from a friend and it got me hook for almost 2 months , in my opinion is a hell of a time killer,and the intro rocks! the formula cars had like super handling and it is in overall a good game. i give it a solid 8.5 ...
The point of the fun from the game is Career Mode and the game titled "Gran Turismo" (no additional words) so people who played the game from PS1 would expect career mode, not some kind of spin off arcade gran turismo. I know it's for PSP and I don't mind shitty graphic and less content, but single out career mode? that's just killing the game. just for psp that is.
this game is Amazing! I have played gt4 but never played it on the psp. I heard this review and others saying its not that good. Now I have a psp go and let me tell you its the ultimate driving game in any portable! wow the graphics plew my mind on what was possible on the psp. it 95% the same as ps2. the guy says its not the best looking game. what was he smoking? yes the dealership thingy is messed up but actually makes the game more fun for me because you never know what your in store for.
how do you get it to play your own music? i've unlocked the custom BGM thing, but i got no idea where to go to make it start playing music you've got saved on your PSP..
Because it's still a system and career mode plus grinding has always been in the franchise...which has always been a very important aspect of GT that separates it from the rest.
i´ve already did that man. the cars aren´t in my garage, when you download the car package they "give" you the cars in your garage or you need to buy them in the game?
Gran Turismo 6 and Gran Turismo PSP are my last great racing game on PlayStation, cause Gran Trashismo Sport and Gran Trashismo 7 just fails to impress me both it's always-online aspect and chore-fest of an experience.

Omitting that means it's just another driving game - which for me GT never was. 5 years in the making and they come out with a compromise... unbelievable! you dont really have to gamble,just save up the money and then skip every 2 days by joining a race and leaving again. just quickly check what manufacturers sell and if the one you want is there, buy it

The replay function is awesome and I enjoy driving different cars and collecting. At s dificulty the AI drivers are quite hard to beat and I got lots of gameplay for the money.
i downloaded this game and cuted iso file to my iso folder on memory stick and when i went to psp game memory stick i launched the game but the screen was all black. i have a lot of games and they all work but gt isnt working. i have a psp phat with 5.00 m33-6 . please say what to do to make that game launch :(

@sabrezeta99 Well here are a few tips. This is how the way I started. Turn off all assists like TCS,AMS and active steering. Start with N3,N3 tires. my drift car was a mazda RX7. A lot of other cars will drift easily. To get used to drifting go to the Suzuka Circuit. Hope this helps!

Mobile is portable , and it has powerful games
Ridge Racer, which came out in 2005 had a pretty decent career mode, and looked better visually. So really can't pull the excuse that it's a handheld.

the problem is you only get 4 dealship at once u can't just buy the car you want u have to take a gamble and hope it turns up

Its cause sans day and night cycles forza has better than better game ever since forza 3 has come out.
