Every year, it bums me out that I'm not currently playing Wow, whenever Hallow's End (Im a lifelong Halloween junkie IRL,) and Midsummer (it was the holiday during my first few weeks of playing WoW!) Maybe, hopefully, next year, I'll be playing again! I already have my (Headless) Horseman's Reins! So! At least I'm not missing out on that! It's also my favorite mount! Even now! Great video, btw! 🎃🎃🎃
Hey! This is why world of warcraft is such a great game. The lore is just so well made. This is just one small story in this huge world and there are plenty more of these! also the presentation of on this canel is great! well done and i hope more people can find this and enjoy it like i do! OMG I had no idea. A sad story. As a Macbook user who is inflicted wth the plague of the new WoW/Sonoma iOS crash bug, I am unable to play during my favourite time of year. So watching your video brought me some joy. Wish i could partake in the festivities this year. Thanks for the story :)
Got it the first year it was put in... I logged on got instant invites from friends. Was a guild group. Me IRL Friend Guild Leader Main Raid Healer Mage I was informed of this drop on my way to SM. I go in we knock it out... Sword and Mount dropped. Everyone already had a Sword, so I got that... The mount... ROLL!. My IRL friend rolled was sub 50 Same with the mage, MR Healer sub 80... Guild Leader 99, begins celebrating. My roll 100 3 seconds later I was instantly kicked from guild. This caused Guild Death. Guild Leader was screaming in vent that he as head of the guild should've been given the mount and not had to roll for it. I was 2nd on Server. 10 mins later I was invited to another guild after they found out what happened... Then I got to get another try at Glaives before WotlK... (Didn't drop, but finished up my t6) I talked with the guild and got them to take 15 other people, this allowed for 2 25 man groups hitting BT... But I'd also have them run Hyjal and IoQ while running varied nubs to Loot Reaver and getting them that loot drop, Gruul's for Trophy... Then my job changed work times so I had to find a new guild due to my raid times changing... Did that and I was 2nd on Server during WotLK to get TLPD... Didn't get guild kicked for that one But I was running Pug ICC to Saurfang using people I had been teaching to raid from OS3 10/25 and getting some the Red Proto Drake from Achievements. We folded those people into the guild and eventually they'd run 10 mans ICC.. But I enforced Communism. You either gave a stack or 2 or ore or herbs, skin or 300g a day. But just days you played. This helped more than 20 people get epic flying and cold weather flying. And they were grateful which lead them to stuffing the GB with Money or Mats. This helped our Fresh 80's get starting gear for raiding.(So they could at least hit) then we'd run ToC, all 3 ICC 5 mans, this pretty much had them at level to do a bit in ICC 25 (Being carried but they put in work) Had a group that just fished every day so we had Raid food, herbs for Pots/Elixirs, ore for gem cutters, cloth... The other guild that was competing against us got caught buying gold just to stay ahead of us .. they got shamed after that... We even had a Feeder Guild... If you had your main switch professions. Your main was put into the feeder guild, which did the same thing with Raw Mats, this would allow the Person to build things (Blue) and place them into the GB, then the Feeder Guild leader would raffle off the item ex (Phantom Blade) and have Crusader ready to be put on it. This taught players team focus and cooperation... I miss playing. Sorry.

I would think after decades of their parties getting torched, Azeroth would celebrate their harvest a few weeks early instead of having it in peak arson-season.

Hallow's End is my favorite WoW event. I even got the Headless Horseman's mount this year, only my second of really trying.
