I love how in every other language Nox sounds so desperate and broken, but in the Polish version he is literally moaning
I like that difference. I might be a little biased as a pole but to hell with it. I very like listening to various dubbings because they can give something unique.

Imagine that Polish person reads that. But, I am not a hater or something. It's your opinion, and I accept that. But I think every launguage did a good job.

As a kid I was watching first season on tv with polish dub, but when the second season was airing I was a little bit older and decided to watch it with French dub and it was so much better ohh Since then Ive watch all wakfu and dofus related stuff in French.
The cube....it really did speak to me. I was supposed to succeed.

1. French- best scream and cry
2. Portuguese- best delivery
3. English- best chaotic whimper
but there was no portugal in video

Yo the English Is shit i speak french (the real langage in this animation) and in English he speak not the real Word of the originale version
The French and German versions had an echo to Nox's screams which really put an emphasis on just how lonely he had become, his voice echoing off into the vast emptiness which he'd built by the actions of his own two hands. You really get the sense of the desperation which has been driving him for 200 years, and just how broken his final failure really left him. When he strikes out he is not greeted by answers, but simply more pain.
And then we have the English version, where none of the recording sounds correct until we get to the point where the King speaks. The guy manning the soundboard should be fired. The acting was not bad but the sound management was terrible.

The English VA of Nox did sound a little bit flat and emotionless sometimes (like almost all the characters from the english dub) but he really nailed the loneliness and despair Nox felt in this scene
And also his laugh is just hillarious

Yes, like in all the other language of this show... and with almost all fictional young boy characters in animated series / movies or video games... actually, is pretty rare when a real child voices a young boy... actually, almost all fictional young boy characters are voiced by women...
the Italian version of yugo's voice is a female voice actor

The german voice actor for Nox is also the voice of the german Handsome Jack from the Borderlands universe which made me completely fell in love with the series.
Weirdly fitting.

I think that voice of nox in this version was good but not for this scene cause in rest he sounded psychotic and maniacal with that voice but here it just don't fits
Idk why so many people think nox's english dub is bad its not that bad you have to watch the anime in english from the start for the best experience he sounds insane in english and french like hes supposed to
English sounds out of place, while French sounds more organic.
The English dub is okay just some moments sound off or underwhelming compared to the original French version.

I think nox's english voice actor did a pretty good job in most scenes. The only good english voice actor in my opinion, I did like gu-gor-ligram's (idk how to spell it) as well. The other actors were really sub par.

The sadness in his voice e in English when he says the cube spoke to me in my opinion is the only thing thing English version did well, in the German version his crying when looking around is done well, and the voice in French is the best.
I watched Wakfu in Fr En (and German) and i loved both 2 NOXs,

English voice actors are scared to sound stupid when they speak sometimes and it really hurts the show

My personal rating:
- French: sad and desperate.
- English: meaner, but not sad or desperate enough (except at certain moments).
- German: mean but angry and sad at the same time.
- Polish: very sad.
- Spanish: good but lacks sadness, I only hear anger.
- Italian: very desperate.
- Portuguese: sad and desperate.
- I didn't put Turkish because I couldn't find anything good about it.
I prefer French, especially when it says "répond!" (answer!).

As a french-english speaker, I will say:
English Nox just... Doesn't sound good. He doesn't sound desperate and enraged like he should be in this scene he's... Mildy discontent. I'm exagerrating a bit, but still.
Polish Nox... Moans ? But apart from this, it's decent.
German Nox sounds good, the despair and anger can be felt in his voice, and his screams are pretty good as well.
Original Nox is the best though, no question asked.

Nox was keeping himself alive with time magic since he was over 200 years old. After his plan failed he lost the will to live and went to the graves of his familie. There he cancled the spells keeping him alive and turned to dust.

I’m kinda sad that the French version is missing that sad desperation in the voice. At least on the last edge of the sentence. It sounds more like he is annoyed if anything.

The weird thing is most of season 1s dub, he actually sounds better. Like the VA just packed it in or something after awhile.
I wish the people who dubbed the third season would redub the first two, they are way better.
I also liked goultards english voice better.
Which is sad. The choices for the sound of characters were pretty good but the voice delivery was quite lacking.
