Infected blood: Victim wants prosecutions after report

- Mel McKay was five when she received infected blood in a transfusion during a heart operation.
She was later found to have been infected with HIV, and her family were told she would not reach her 10th birthday.
Now in her mid-40s, she told Sky News 'I'm angry that failings happened that should never have happened,' as she gave her reaction to the report.

Absolutely appalling, the usual in this country. Just like the Post Office scandal. This poor lady & other victims, it’s ruined their lives. I was advised to have a blood transfusion after the birth of my son in the 90’s & I declined.
Don't forget the ongoing silence over Grenfell and Hillsborough it seems to be never-ending.
The poor the vulnerable those in power don't care .

AN INQUIRY IS NEEDED, TO QUESTION…WHO OWNED THE AMERICAN BLOOD COMPANIES…WHO WAS MAKING THE MONEY….AND WHO PAID WHO TO COVER IT UP…..JUSTICE …..NOT JUST IN MONEY….
And medical care for it denied
victims of the infected blood scandal will get peanuts but Postmasters who are siblings of wealthy tories will get Millions in compensation per head
