    Great interview! Learned a lot from it. I'm a frequent visitor to the Philippines. Puerto Galera is one of my favorite locations. It feels a world away from Manila but is reachable in just 3 hours. You might also consider the Batangas area on Luzon. It's the same reef complex but on the mainland, so closer to city services and medical care.

    • @RobertMeadePowerOfImagination
      @RobertMeadePowerOfImagination 11 місяців тому +1

      Yes, Batangas is nearby. There just so many wonderful places to explore in the Philippines. So far I have traveled to Luzon, Puerto Galera, Dumaguete, Siquijor, now in Bohol and headed to Cebu for several days before returning to Puerto Galera. Depending on Whether patterns I will visit either Boracay or Palawan next month. Of course there are another 10+ locations on my list. These next few months will be amazing. I prefer to say "They were amazing because I envision them already done".

    I think the cheapest country we are considering would be Nicaragua or Colombia. According to Numbeo they are hard to beat as far as cost of living.

    • @rickbuhrs
      @rickbuhrs 11 місяців тому +3

      From experience i can say that yes Colombia is cheaper on paper but since there is more streetcrime you want to live in a upscale part of town. Also in the upscale parts restaurants and shopping will be more expensive and you don’t want to walk at night so uber everytime you go out.
      Then Mexico, on paper more expensive but you can skimp a bit on location. I’m currently in the city centre of Tlaxcala, rent is $350 including utilities and cleaning, i can walk everywhere day and night so no need for transport and many affordable food options. 6 tacos for $2.50, cheeseburger $2,50, quesedilla $1.50, Pozolo (soup) $4 and many more options in that price range. I would say the low cost Mexican food is better then the options in Colombia.

      In Colombia we will be in Manizales which is considered to be one of the safest cities in the country. Cuenca, Ecuador….Arequipa, Peru….Buenas Aires….

In the context of what he was expressing the correct word is " cojones " pronounced " Cohones " which means , a man's testicles in Latin American Spanish to say someone needs to have cojones it means to have courage ; guts.

      You claim Bob that you “Want to help people achieve their dreams”. Bragging about your negotiation skills and specifically paying next to nothing to landlords in Indonesia and the Philippines speaks volumes about your priorities. You also claim that you give great deals on your arguably if true coaching business with clients in 45 countries. Wouldn’t you think that poor Indonesians and Pilipino’s might be deserving of their dreams of having enough food to eat if they could only get tight foreigners to pay a fair price? Oh my God, so many Red Flags Bob (You know it too:) to be honest at one point when you started talking about all the love and joy in your heart I almost tossed my cookies. you may want to add more honesty to your self promoting “Performance Art”. Although I’d bet that your real story may not be quite as flattering to you.
      My recommendation to any viewers is to stay clear of Bob’s “Coaching”

    I'm a writer from Mexico; we talked before, and I've followed you for years. I Went two times to the Philippines in 2022. Right now, the Mexican peso is at a big-time high. While in the pandemic, 1000 dollars gave me 25k, I only get 17k MXN or less now, so it's getting much more expensive.
    In the Philippines, my US dollars are still 54 or 55 each, and if you select your foods and buy at local markets, you can live for pretty cheap. When I was in Davao alone without girls, I remember eating six eggs and two potatoes, one big meal daily for about 65 cents. I did this one whole week to check if I could live on the bare minimum. Of course, I don't pay foreign tax on markets cause I don't look like a foreigner; they think I'm Filipino.
    Last time, I wanted to stay but got my card blocked and panicked, so I returned to Mexico.
    I got a one-way ticket to return next October. If I can use Gcash (I had trouble setting it up) and link it to my Payoneer account, it shouldn't be a problem retiring in the Philippines at 35.
    Let's hang out there. I don't think you have interviewed a Latino living there yet.

    I hope everyone keeps in mind that while Bobby is relatable, and especially for me with the comparison between Mexico and Philippines, we have to put up our guard with anyone who assumes the existence of an unseeable, unknowable, untouchable, untestable invisible spirit in the sky... especially in 2023.

      I’ve seen, I’ve known I’ve touched and I’ve tested the “spirit in the sky”. I personally recommend not to do the testing part as one can only rebound from life’s tragic decisions so many times. ❤

    • @all4fitz
      @all4fitz 11 місяців тому

      @@jonmarchilgers384 What you claim to have touched and tested is very different than what we all know about touching and testing things in the reality that we all experience together. And until that claim is demonstrated to be real, it is just a single person's claimed experience. But yet, the book "The Secret" and Bobby's statements in this video, both make assumptions as if these extraordinary claims are real which is the wrong approach. I think you would agree if I made a similar claim about my magic dragon.
