A piece of advice to anyone around this ELO: you are up a full Rook at this point. Force the opponent to a trade of Queens, via Qc3+, and you basically win, by stalking the pawns on column "a" and "b"

    • @AP0PT0SIS

Knight c3 to e4 stops this whole pin.
B takes B on d2 stops you castling as king must retake, but unpins, so thats a fine outcome thats slightly in his favor.
The best line i found is this:
    Kc3 to e4:
Pawn takes pawn d5 is the best counter most players will see as they are going to take the knight and continue the pin, and this is undefendable if black isnt blind.
The solution i found is bishop d5 to take back the pawn and sack the bishop.
He should retake with queen, other moves i cant find may salvage it, knight f6 takes bishop d5 is probably the correct move as it has him at an advantage, yes, but at least his pin will be blocked and your queen slips out though you're down 2 material.
However, if he takes bishop d5 with queen, as most players will, he has instantly lost.
Knight e4 takes knight f6 with check must be retaken by pawn g7, if he moves the king either direction, queen e8 is M1.
If he takes back with pawn, he is still lost to forced mate; your queen takes his rook with check, then he has to go king g7, and in a WEIRD twist since the white H pawn is on g4; it is rook h1 takes pawn h7, making king g6 forced, and queen g8 is actually Checkmate as his pawns block him in while keeping his own queen out.

Dude I love this low ELA chess analysis videos, they are so fun. I'm also about 600 ELO rn in 10 min games (any time constraint and I totally crumble so I'm trying to fix that) and probably only like 700 in 30 min games so not great there either. But chess is a fantastic game and a lot of fun to try to get better at, also as a low ELO player I can totally relate to a lot of the thought processes going on in these vids

one tip is when it starts to become endgame and you have your queen and another big pieces (bishop knight or rook) then try and look for a queen trade that favors you for example 8:45 when u could have moved your queen to c3 and then bc if he moved his king u will get his queen he has to trade and you come out with him having nothing you having a rook and tempo (who is reacting and who is attacking best and easiest is to attack a piece or put them in check) i see that alot with your endgame w/ queens alot
also same exact thing with 9:26
    - Val

  • @STREEEEEET
    @STREEEEEET 19 днів тому

This is so relatable. I once hang my queen to a pawn just cause i saw i could threat his horse with queen, never saw the pawn neither did he cause he moved the horse instead of taking my queen. I only see that on the recap.

As a 800 elo player learn the smart queen start plays it goes like this.(as white) Kings pawn two spaces up (hopefully) opponent does the same thing. You bring your queen as far as it can go to the right he goes pawn g7 (hopefully) and you go check with the queen at e5 he block with either queen or bishop doesn’t matter and you take rook at h8.

  • @tatzka90

Very good first game! Decent game plans all around, bringing queen defending mates & knight to g-file, trying to disconnect rooks (btw you could've tried Nh2+) etc.
Also you could've gone straight to end game by forcing queen trade at 8:22 left, but still impressive for a 600 elo.

Up to 1:30 really solid gameplay, this whole sequence is just a good opener you can confidently use until at least 1500 or higher.
If you played the rest of the game at the level of these first 8 moves, you'd be +1300 without much issue.
Move 9 isnt awful but its probably not good.
    Move 10 brought great sadness,
Everything after it until 3:00 was damage control and not actually too bad as it was a good bait.
At 3:00, I actually pref knight c6 its just better development.
I think at 4:15 the best move is pawn g6

11:30 since you asked, Nce4 blocks it, and it has 2 defenders (queen and knight) vs 2 attackers (rook and knight). If he adds another with Qe7, cxd3 defends it. The only thing to watch out for is Bxd2+, to make sure to take back with the king and not the queen which would drop the knight
