Amazing New Triple dipping onto Bubble wrap paper experiment with awesome excellent results

- Acrylic pouring: Fluid art/ dipping your canvas onto bubble wrap filled with your paints
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Elmer’s glue all”and 30% water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands varying but mostly use the Mont marte studio acrylics, or pouring paints.
Some Global impasto paints and Byron paints both Australian made.
Other paints I love to use and work well with my pouring medium are Burrows paints, chroma A2,
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint and cover with a damp cloth, as iv found I have much better results.

I just watched this after receiving another box of painting supplies with lots of bubble wrap. What beautiful paintings! Can't wait to try this technique. BTW, I loved your comment about "Santa vomit". My daughter brought a friend over to paint for the first time last week, and they name one particularly colorful painting "Unicorn Vomit"! Said daughter is 34 and is totally enthralled with this art form. My basement and freezer are covered with drying paintings.

I loved watching your bubble wrap pour. The third one looks like an owl in the middle and the fourth one looks like two birds in the middle. Loved the look. This is my second time watching your pouring medium and really enjoyed it.

I'm sitting up in the middle of the night unable to sleep watching your videos...the soft water system kicked on and scared the crap out of me!! I love this experiment. I totally get going off left field in the middle of one idea with another. Do that all the time myself. I do like what you are doing with this technique, as paint pours are so wasteful in my opinion. You did give me an idea concerning paint pours, to use the
excess runoff to do this dip technique and thus use, and not lose as much paint from a pour.

I love them Gilly! I picked up a pack of heavy crap paper gift tags at the Dollar General & started dipping them in my run off & I thought they’d curl up, but I was able to flatten them out! If you find them, give it a go! I’m going use push pins through the hole into cardboard & spray all the backs with white spray paint. They’ll make great gift cards on Christmas gifts!

I love experiments. And I love to use tin foil, bubble wrap and tools (balloons and kitchen tools come to mind 🤪) to add texture. These are incredible!! Love the colors!!
