This is not meant to entice donations AT ALL. We are incredibly frustrated that we will not be paid for our work over the past 2 months and the donations people have given through youtube thus far will be going directly into their pocket, not to our channel or even refunded back to you. We really just wanted to let everyone know why we may not be able to be a UA-cam channel. Thank you for the view over the years. We have also had several comments telling us to upload to rumble. Those comments are being deleted but not by us. We do however already upload on rumble.

“I donated a Super Thanks to a UA-cam channel that has been demonetized.
The channel creators are receiving NO payments, INCLUDING Super Thanks donations, and they are urging their followers to please not donate since they won’t even get it!
I feel this a scam by definition on UA-cam’s part since they unfairly created the situation for these content creators and are not entitled to keep my donated money!”
UA-cam told you in the reams of TOS you didn’t read that the money you give them is theirs and they can do whatever they want with it.
This is part of the greed cycle of the economy and markets. Corporations are doing anything they can to keep meeting quarterly revenue goals. And to disguise from investors that they are getting ready to go into a slump, they start doing shady stuff like this to prop up earnings as long as possible. It will get worse…
Not “corpirations”. Silicon Valley. This is what Google does. There is no way to audit their so-called view count so they can charge advertisers whatever, and pay out whatever. This is happening to lots of creator because Google is losing money.
Are you sure this isn't in escrow during an investigation? That is common. Maybe they will pay you when your case is resolved. Do you have a case number from them?

I spoke to a real person well chatted with a real person and they told me my channel will never be monetized, and it's because i didn't appeal the strikes i had and will never be monetized after working everyday for about 4 years

The problem is that YT has a monopole so they can do whatever they want. Idk why they decided to demonetize you but it's really f***ed up that they took your super thanks money, that's donations not add revenue, I don't even know how they can legally take that money, even if it's stated in their terms and conditions.
This is the first time I'm encountering your channel so idk what your content is like but my general advice is, watch out for provocative nudity, music copyright and avoid talking positively about right wing politics cuz they don't like that, being extremely left, I've seen many channels get demonitized for those reasons. Ofc try to appeal even though it's usually unsuccessful.
Since UA-cam can be a persons 'job' - main source of income, they shouldn't be able to just demonetize people without telling them why and for reasons that they just make up, it's totally unregulated.
That's insane. Here's something weird though. This video popped up in my recommended just now. I've never seen your page or videos before. I also haven't watched Bob Wells, but I have seen some stuff from him show up since I've watched other van life videos. The algorithm definitely pushed you to me today so hopefully that's a good thing. I subscribed.

The government is involved with youtube, imo, they are behind the censorship etc. I don't think contacting anyone in the government isn't going to help. With these guys who knows, maybe the government is starting to see too many people deciding to go boondocking and they would rather see them working at a job instead of making videos on youtube. So this discourages others who think of making a living on youtube by boondocking.

Seems like the logical thing to do considering all of UA-cam's "content creators" are actually SUBCONTRACTORS. Seems like UA-cam likes cheating it's subcontractors, at least that's how a court would see it.
The only thing about class action lawsuits is the attorneys make bank while the people that are struggling are given $10 checks!

If they’re NOT getting monetized for few months now (since February’s pay,) UA-cam STILL pushing their video’s is only working in THEIR (UA-cam’s) favor.
As the couple stated, the more views the video gets, the more $ UA-cam receives.
So they don’t mind pushing it around, even video like this one.
The ONLY ones that are getting paid is UA-cam it self; so far at least.

Also, they have been flagging people left and right for invalid traffic. No explanation they just tell you that you have invalid traffic and they whack you on the head. Please don’t give up without a fight.
To be fair people exploit the traffic and youtube probably got burned for lots of money , I know i did fake clicks in the beginning, made a click bot even had different account to do it and all for fun not any profit, before youtube was profit. You just hit refresh and you get an extra view, it was that simple to boost your view count in the begining. I always wondered why we had to jump through all these hoops so our favourite youtuber gets paid(llike, share, subscribe, ring the bell, and now comment!)_ im sure youtube is being greedy but it probably came from the fact they were trying to get rid of fake trafffic. And youtubers get their audience to engage in fake engagment all the time asking them to leave a comment, so they're doing it to themselves in a way. Asking someone to like and comment is fake engagement but everyone does it like its nothing, but anyway I sympathsize, had one of my vidoes flagged and removed for illegal content promoting some kind of criminal activity and it was just playing guitar, no vocals either so theres some collateral damage for sure.
I think from my experience seeing this with others it has to do with the links they post under the vid. YT channels that have links to onlyfans under the vid get demonetized & its not because its onlyfans, its because they don't allow certain links in that section, you have to post the links in a pinned comment instead & then you are good to go.

THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON with smaller to medium sized channels here on YT for YEARS! My channel (not this one lol) is monetized, but I run a business with clients that I visit 4-5 days per week. I’ll never rely solely on this company for income bc it’s way too unpredictable.

Maybe travel niche is better but my channels get nothing. But ive also had dozens of youtube channels since youtube started & they never promoted any of them. This channel here was my only channel I ever had over 1000 subs back in the day. But I was verbally reaming scammers in a business I am in. So the toxicness was what lured people in. I had to erase my videos as youtube was giving me strikes & removing my videos while promoting scammers as they still & always will do. They ran me out for calling out who pays their bills.
They kept you hidden until recently- I watch all the camping videos 4 years back and never saw your channel until recently and one of the best - binge watched, enjoyed,laughed just absolutely love it don’t give up but I’d cut back for now get jobs and make a comeback later but don’t give up , quit is not an option for me nor for you !!!

Yip. I have been singing this song for some time now. The channels that explodes in 3 or 4 months are of such bad quality. Bad. The filming, the editing etc. I call it the UA-cam algorithm lottery.

I would suggest you don’t stop but maybe ask for patreon and PayPal donations until your channel gets monetized again as you don’t want to lose the momentum your channel is picking up.

This video came on my feed - I didn’t do a search for it - in the past couple months I’ve read about UA-cam demonetizing channels and just keeping the channel revenue and no way to directly resolve the situation. YES! Completely agree! We, your viewers, need to not just comment to you, but to make our voices heard on your behalf to UA-cam. Make it known that due to the recent exposure on the popular Bob Wells CheapRVLiving channel, you got a big bump in views. That you are legitimate and they are wrong to withhold all donations and monies due you! We know you are just hanging on, hoping to get your subscriber numbers up enough to subsist on, without having to quit this lifestyle altogegether. Viewers, please act and help CandE 's channel survive. They put in so much work-and do it so well - to have it come for naught.
Being a fairly new subscriber (joined in mid/late March), I want you to know that I really appreciate your channel.… I subscribed because you bring some realism (the good, the bad and the ugly) about your daily lives and life on/with UA-cam. I’m a Veteran, and I try to focus on Veteran run channels, or at least those with Veterans in their families.
Maybe you are defying the algorithmic odds by having a fairly clean/wholesome/real channel that people are catching onto… It goes against ‘the norm’ of what Google wants to promote.
I know the demonetization stings and sucks… But look at this as a badge of honor… As you’re growing a the right way, and not succumbing to the AI overlords…

Could you reach out to any larger channels that you know, example Bob Wells, and ask if any of them has ever had an email correspondence with a human? Then email that human. Hope things get sorted soon.

Hello friends, the same thing happened to me for 're-uploading content without substantially changing it' . For example, if you found a funny Instagram post and just uploaded it to youtube etc. 99% of my content is mine but every once in a while i'd find something relatable to my channel ie - a dog snoring etc and put some funny music to it and upload it. This is against the rules and they provide no warning or strikes for this breach of the terms. I'm not sure if that video about Bob wells was your own content but it's possible that their AI bot's determined that it was 're-uploaded' content. A 3 month ban with no strike policy is in my opinion a scam so youtube can make more money. Surely there should be a warning system in place etc. UA-cam's AI is monitoring the channels and the views and if you have a video that blows up it flags it and then checks if it's re-uploaded content etc. You will have to delete that vid that went viral and re-apply in a few months. They did send me an email with the details. Good luck
If you get a copyright strike it’s for a specific video. UA-cam demonetized our entire channel. All 6 years of our videos were ineligible for monetization (though they were still running ads ). We still have no idea why it happened , no answers or explanations. We are now monetized again though.

This is called 'Reused content - Content is not clearly an original creation of this channel, and may have been repurposed from another source without adding significant original commentary, substantive modifications or educational or entertainment value' . That's what happened to me anyway, and the same thing got demonetized for 3 months with no warning. Cheers

I ran into the same issue, I have been monetized for years, but was slowed down from doing videos because of work and then some health issues...when I got back on here I had wondered why nothing had came in for over a year, and found that I "no longer meet eligibility." I meet their eligibility years ago, then they changed the goal post on me with no notice.
If your Patreon members has Zella in their bank account and if they have your email, they can send money to that way they will not know anything about your bank account info and you will not anything about their bank info.

UA-cam sucks. I worked on building a channel for a year and they refused to monetize me so I moved to Rumble and was monetized immediately. UA-cam thinks they are so big they will never fail but they are wrong and I can't wait to see it when it happens.

The bot "contact" "help" is soooo frustrating and you are caught in an endless LOOP - that is ZERO frustration and NO Customer Service.

The same situation happened to us BEFORE we were monitized our channel made alot of money FOR UA-cam, once we were monetized, nothing changed on our channel EXCEPT all our stats dropped and the revenue fell off drastically (NOW - only $1 per day for 10+ hours each day).
Is it a coincidence that once UA-cam had to share revenue with us our channel stats/revenue dropped?
It’s a crazy amount of money if they steal just a little from millions of creators . And we have no recourse.

I understand your frustration with YT. A few years ago, I had a descent channel with about 30k subs. Another person started a channel with my exact SAME channel name; just the name had a space in it. This violates YT rules but I could do NOTHING about it. Round and round with email bot and no way to get it fix cause you cant speak to anyone at YT. Finally, i gave up and just shut my channel down. They suck.
Last year, my sons channel was demonitized when he had 30K subs & close to 1M VIEWS in 90 days. He was a 'fail' channel...using the same exact formatting as a huge fail channel! They pick & choose...😢

I think UA-cam has to verify view numbers on viral videos. I've noticed recently that when one of my videos gets 5 to 10 thousand views in a short period of time, the view numbers the audience sees is way behind what my analytics shows. I think they're just verifying the view numbers. If a video of mine gets 5 thousand views in a short period of time the audience only sees the video has 700 views but I see the video got 5 thousand views and the actual view numbers doesn't update until a day later.
I'm outraged also. Just when you got a big hit from being on Bob's channel. It's unfair. Maybe contact Bob and see if he has a contact at YT since his channel is pretty big.

sorry to have this happen to you. I have a small channel as well (music related) and the same thing happened to me last year. I went through all the hoops of fire they make you go through, filed an appeal etc.... and still couldn't keep my monetization. 12 years doing youtube on and off, and the kicker is, I never did anything wrong and all the money I made went to charity. UA-cam will maybe pay you. But they hold money make interest on it not just you 100,000k people. Think of all that held money making interest on your money and 100,000k folks money its millons!
I have a friend with an art channel who had something similar happen. What she did was to put a tier on Patreon for $3, and uploaded her videos that way. If even 10% of your YT audience joined, it'd just about get you to the level YT SHOULD be paying you. It's a little more work, and she said it was tough to make the switch from just uploading a video every week to interacting more often, and she did still upload a short video here every other week, just to keep something here for newcomers who stumble on the channel, but they always funneled people toward her patreon.
Because, really, this is absolute crap and I'd be incandescent with rage if it was me. That money's yours and it's not like $2k is going to make or break google...it's just ridiculous and cruel.

Maybe it was the recipe about a Jewish dish and what you said about comments. Algorithms could use words in any context to flag so once the review of that segment is done the context won't be discovered? With the war over there and the terrorism you know everybody is scared of violence. You could be a victim of the fear or risk UA-cam is wary of what creators say.
So, UA-cam may be leveraging some punitive damage to you as a way of punishment to display its position for something political percieved by algorithm being proffered through your channel.

This might sound crazy but I have been Blacklisted for years. I think they said I have like $100 or something, after 6 years. So I never gave them access to my bank account for an amount like that. I am still confused why they needed access to my bank account password anyway. Some people make money here. I have NEVER MADE ANYTHING ON UA-cam! They never push my videos. I am always shocked when I get more than 500 views. 😂

Yes my husband has been creating sheet music videos for about 16 years and they demonetized him, no reason at all. They also kept the last 1,345 that he made, he never got his channel back. I'm sad you guys are dealing with this, too.
I’m only chiming in because I feel bad for creators that put out real knowledge, teaching videos. My kids follow music instruction. I have noticed the creators seem to make the least amount of money, but teach something that the viewer can actually get something out of, learning! But the guy that kicks his buddy in the nuts on video, is making huge money. I feel for our future

We find it a little disturbing that you have no recourse action to at least get an explanation as to why this has happened. We have subscribed to your channel today as we want to follow your journey through this episode. We have not watched any of your other content, so we make the assumption that you are (like us) working within the RV lifestyle field, which is highly saturated on You Tube with competing channels. To establish a following such as yours equals a mammoth effort on your part. Once this has been resolved, and we sincerely hope, positively for you, we will dive into your other content. I have my own theory. The big guys they aren’t touching because they are too valuable. It’s channels like yours they target randomly to hold 3 months of earnings. Think if they just pick 1000 random channels a month, for no reason, and the money they’ll bring in without having to pay anything out

You tube has been changing the metrics for a content provider...first you needed 500 subscribers...then it was changed to 1000 subscribers...I managed to do this...but watch time minutes also increased dramatically....so unfortunately I was demonitized...a few years back... so no more camera budget....😢😢😢

Lol. Im sorry, this is just sort of funny. They just told you that they will not receive this. This donation goes straight to youtube and will not help this couple. This should be pissing everyone off, however its also also been very well known for the past 2 years, UA-cam can/will demonetize creators, once the money gets big enough for them to just keep everything.
