I've just recently found your channel, and I LOVE IT! I have emailed your channel to all of my contacts, I do hope this channel really TAKES OFF!! Your channel is by far more realistic and fun to watch as you guys are not afraid of failure and do not try to upload the "perfect moment." I believe you guys are "real" and really appreciate the honesty in your posts.
Another awesome video, Definitely worth subscribing! 👍🏻 I noticed chris is very knowledgeable which is solid. From Guam btw, And hope to meet you guys one day!
Thank you so much!! He likes to hide it behind silliness, but his brain is basically Wikipedia lol. Maybe we will do a meet and greet with everyone one day before we go
@@CandEAdventures hahahah.....that's a nice boat by the way....i sure love to catch you guys heading out to fish one day and hopefully buy some Mahi at the end of the day.... great job catching that Mahi.
I am already sea sick, when i saw your boat move up and down, good job ! Elisabeth, congratulation ! you caught a big mahi mahi, that is our favorite fish, we cut around between 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick with bone in and grill or pan fried, it taste so good, try it ! you might like it ! oh boy ! it make my mouth water, anyway ! good job ! hey ! guys and girls don't forget to hit the - like & subscribe buttons -, so Elizabeth and Chris can produce some more vlogs for us to enjoy it. Thank you ! don't forget hit the button !!!!! aloha from Hi.
Yeah the water can get you pretty quickly when you’re floating like a duck out there! Thank you so much!! That sounds like a quicker way to cut up and cook the mahi, we will have to try it. Thank you for commenting, liking, and subscribing!! 🙏🍻
Thank you both. Don't be jealous of her catch, be proud that you know when the time comes, she will take care of you. It works both ways. Again thank you both for the awesome content.
Mahi Mahi is one of my favorite eating fish. It's expensive in a restaurant so catching them is not only fun and challenging but saves you a lot of $$.
Awesome videos. Great job all around. I've watched all your videos and it's nice seeing people enjoying nature and catching food for themselves. I recently left Guam and I miss fishing and hunting big time. Kudos to you both. You seem like a couple that could be anywhere in this world and still make the best of it. Good luck on the fishing!
Good catch!! So do you believe the moon makes a difference? That's how I was taught when I lived in Guam. There is a rooster called talisayan they say wins during full moon. You ain't no howlie no more bro you are chammoros now. Good videos!!
The fish and fishing looks great. I'm in Buffalo NY and can only go ice fishing for dinky perch. I'm sure you had more fun. P.S. my wife usually kicks my butt at fishing too.
Haha! I dig it! 👌🏽 And also would you be interested in using local music (in the background) for you videos and if so, how much would you charge for promotion? Feel free to scope out my UA-cam page, but no pressure. And no worries if not.
Congratulations Elisabeth!!!! A lovely looking Mahi-Mahi cow and from the carcass a decent filleting job too!! I don't know as I can really see a Chris to Jason Momoa resemblance, not to be mean but (why is there always a But after someone says something like that?), I was thinking closer to a George of the Jungle - Brendon Fraser. Not that you are wrong with some of your similarities with Mr. Momoa, you do have long-ish hair and you are a male so you have that going for you. Now this was in Mexico but deals with the same fish the Mahi-Mahi, Dorado and we used to look for anything floating that would hold baitfish like a floating seaweed patch or a log and then pitch out jigs tipped with squid or a chunk of bait, or a cut bait rigged with a couple of hooks and fish around the floating stuff by 15 or 20ft, and we used to do pretty well landing them. What else tasty swims in Guam's waters? Great video guys, seriously for Chris' repair work on the trailer to Elisabeth's Mahi-Mahi it's definitely a "Pat on the Back" and crack a second beer kind of episode!! Well Done!!
That’s some good advise . There just isn’t any real floating weed lines / or logs or anything like that here here. The tiny bit of land out here makes finding debris few and far between. But we will keep a lookout !!
Thank you so much for watching! We've got quite the number of videos exploring Guam, so glad you can live vicariously through us until you attain freedom 🍺
I like your boat, perfect size. Can I get some information on where you bought it from and price range? I am still in Hawaii, but am from Guam and looking on getting a boat when I move back. I searched FB marketplace, but nothing good available. Thanks in advance!
Thank you! We bought it from Coral Reef Marine. There aren't many dealerships here that sell boats, so they are in short supply and usually really expensive. This one brand new with the trailer and motor included was around 28k. Craigslist occasionally has a boat pop up for sale, but its mostly in Facebook groups like Guam Boats and Skis Sales or word of mouth. The only other way boats come in outside of the couple dealerships are military or individuals paying upfront to import them and resell. It is surprising that an island doesn't have several boat dealerships, but we think the shipping costs really kill the desire and accessibility.
I think Chris looks like Josh Holloway (from Lost and Colony) or maybe Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (from the Game of Thrones), but definitely Josh Holloway. Also, did Elisabeth have surgery on her shoulder? How does the saying go, you ain't shit until you've had shoulder surgery. What caused the scar? Also, is Chris a dancer?
This is about 1 mile from land. Mahi prefer deeper water, it is approx 1,500 ft deep where we caught this one. We have heard of spearfisherman seeing them right along the reef though. It's possible from land here just not very probable.
Oh no...you all don't know what you have unleashed with " *Captain Momoa* ". The confidence. The sass. It will never be contained again 🤣
Chris you look like Josh Donaldson ,but if he was from Tampa
Loved seeing Elizabeth's reaction to catching the Mahi. Wishing you guys all the luck in catching more fish =)
So much fun on that spinning reel! And we need all the luck we can get !
Mahi is such a beautiful fish and even more delicious, caught several between Florida and Bimini. Glad you guys had that awesome experience in Guam.
Chris i love the shirt lol took me a while to notice it 🤣🤣 && also go elisabeth for catching her first mahi!! Woohoo 😁👏🏻 👏🏻
SOMEONE FINALLY NOTICED the Little Caesar's Hoodie!! 😂🍕

Nice trailer repair Chris. . . happy the ants didn’t interfere 🐜
You did it! I am excited to see you reel it in!
Hoping it will be your turn soon!! 😁
WOw....mahi...!! it's huuge! Awesome job!
Thank you ! It was my first !
What an awesome catch! This will be an excellent guihan to smoke. Ask Chris, he's got the skill.
Maybe we can smoke a fish in another video! 🍻🙏
Woohoo!!! Congrats on the Mahi Elisabeth!!! Love watching y’all!!! (Chris should look in to being Jason Momoa’s stunt double for sure)
First mahi-mahi !!!!! 🍻🙏❤️
Please for the love of God do not feed into his idea of being Momoa like 😂🧜♂️. He is at best a Dana carvey double .
Awesome!!! What a pretty fish! Next care package, I request some of that dressing please and thank you😁
Delivering that sauce may be a curse. Once you have it, there is no going back. But we can provide ❤️
Your grandfather in NC would like to try some, too! Perhaps an idea for Father’s Day 😏

I definitely see the resemblance with Jason Mamoa. 😂😂
Maybe if you squint a lot and have a few beers and set the screen to like 360 p 🤣🍻
Great stuff guys, I know bugger all about fishing but it's so enjoyable to watch, what a fish!
We were just trying to figure out a name for the boat and damn if the “bugger all” didn’t just make the short list lol!
Right on..congrats on your first mahi.
Thank you so much!
👏👏👏yayy great catch.....👍 and hats of to Captain Mamoa🤣🤣🤣 awesome 🤙kampai🍻🍻🍻

Whew! This will be fun.
Thanks for checking it out !!
Alright hope you guys caught several, nice to see the improvement in self sustainability :)
Hopefully we can keep putting fish in the boat more regularly now. Gets hard to stay positive getting skunked like we do all the time lol. 🦨🎣

Nice catch! More better that Mahi for keleguen, unless you’re not into that. Haha! Looking forward to more videos.
We just fried this one because in the southern us fried fish is king lol. We will have to keleguan one in the future !

You have to go a bit far from the land to catch such a big fish, eh?
It will be difficult to catch it in the water close to the land, right?
