In Chiaki's defence, Kana was gloating and rubbing it into Chiaki in her usual way, and her motive for considering a relationship with Fujioka at the time was dishonest towards Fujioka's sincere feelings, to say the least. I love Kana a lot, but she kind of had it coming. Plus, she's super dense as it is, so its not like she would have noticed it anyway.
Chiaki is indeed jealous though. She has a small childish crush on Fujioka (she even named the bear he gave her Fujioka and treats it like her most important thing). So yeah, while Kana was being rather rude, Chiaki did it out of jealousy too. Though in the end her feeling toward Fujioka are more like a child starved for fatherly attention.
LeonGun8 Sometimes i did noticed kana weirdly giving misunderstanding and mixing some words which is cause to some problem that someone is not intend to cause it
She's dense but she also wants him around so in a subconcious level they kind of are already a couple. I think she actually noticed it but just pushed it to the back of her mind, since she did stop for a second to think.
