Agreed. Take a breather and work on yourself!
This video a treasure trove of wisdom for fledgling designers embarking on this rigorous journey. Your first tip, the call to emotional detachment from our creations, strikes a chord. It's an art in itself to balance our passion with the objectivity needed to allow our projects to evolve under critical scrutiny. As someone who’s navigated the nuanced realms of learning and then practicing, I understand the delicate dance between attachment and letting go. Your advice not only prepares students for the architectural world but also for life's broader canvas, where detachment often leads to growth.
Your sixth tip to sketch incessantly is another gem that resonates with me. Sketching is akin to a language, one that architects-and indeed, all creatives-must fluently speak. It's through the stroke of the pen that ideas crystallize and our inner visions find their voice. Carrying a sketchbook is like keeping a journal; it's a repository of moments of inspiration, a visual dialogue with the world. As a lifelong learner and a mentor to many, I see in your advice a universal truth: that the best tool we have is our own continuous curiosity and willingness to capture the essence of our thoughts through whatever medium speaks to us.
Omg that first point is so true!! Awesome video :D

Hello~ Natalie Perri. I am ARTOY 😊
Through this drawing, I was able to access your UA-cam channel and watch more drawing. Your work is unique, and the soft and intense image has been a great impression on me.
Although I live in a different country from you, I was very happy to have access to the history and culture of different countries through you.
I hope to see more works by great artists like you. If your country also has a community site where you can see drawing of other artists, can you teach me that site?
I hope to learn more about culture and art through the site and promote my paintings so that more people can share cultural exchanges. 😊 😊
💕
Do you have the byakugan????
One of my studio professors said it is good to destroy your models (after crit).
Can you make a video on wOrkmANsHip, please? How do you get better at crafting & such, would be helpful.
Is it good to upgrade to a masters degree immediately after bachelors
Well architect is life

6:46 😂 people in USA too use that 'ahh ha' sound! I thought it was Indian
Thank you beautiful.
"think about how much you've paid for the school"
Me who has free education 👁️👄👁️
that's amazing!!! I hope you understand how lucky this is because many students, including myself, in the States and a couple other places don't have this incredible opportunity of free education(: You're so so lucky !!
@@UnravelingArchitecture I'm also pretty happy that it's free here!
Same, mine is technically free (I've paid about $500 for additional courses in my whole 8 years here), but in my case, as it's public and free, it has the worst administration (hence my 8 years instead of the 6 minimum haha).
so there are people touching somebody else's stuff? wtf lol
