Carnival Panorama | Important Things To Know About Camp Ocean | Cruising With Kids

Are you taking kids with you on your Carnival cruise aboard the Panorama? If so, this information is for you!!! While this is based off of our experience on the Panorama, it should be fairly consistent information across the whole Carnival fleet.. so keep watching if you're cruising with kids on a different Carnival ship too!
Children are categorized into the follow age groups:
Penguins: 2 - 5 years old
Stingrays: 6 -8 years old
Sharks: 9 - 11 years old
** If you have multiple children, they CAN NOT stay together in one group and must go with their assigned age category. On the Panorama, they are essentially in the same large room with half walls dividing the spaces.
TIPS:
**100% absolutely check out Camp Ocean on Embarkation Day. This makes sure you've completed you children's registration, and it allows you and your kids to see the space.
**Use the Carnival app starting right away!! We did realize until later in our cruise that Camp Ocean activities are listed on the app! This allowed our children to decided which activities they wanted to prioritize.

Not sure if watches (other than smartwatches) are allowed on camp ocean just for the little ones to keep track of the time! Not every facility inside camp ocean has a clock around it.

I COMPLETELY agree!!! I mean I absolutely get it and understand why.. but I’m still bummed my girls didn’t get to be together!!
