I found today a poor painted Aloe Cosmo in our local florist shop. Remembering your kind words about this plant I bought it hoping that in some time it will overgrow painted part and become fantastic gorgeous plant again. So, WE have saved it! ))) Thanks again!
Loulou's Corner you’re super welcome my friend! There are many many more videos on Agaves and Aloes, check out Succulent Showcase and, of course, tell us what you think
Hello and I find myself coming back to this great video again. You have so many wonderful aloe varieties and 'Christmas Sleigh' is definitely on my wish list. I hope you are well although not making so many videos any more. I am thinking of making a video on my top 10 wishlist plants and was wondering if you had a photo of Christmas Sleigh that you would allow me to use in the video. I would of course mention this super vid in mine. Thanks for your time and happy new year. Rachel
No, I’ve been sidetracked on another project but I’m working on one now so we’ll be back very VERY soon and thanks for the encouragement Rachel, you have no idea how much it means. Keep yourself safe!
Great video. I have grown most of the featured plants. While the Aloe hybrids from California look wonderful some are difficult/shortlived. Presently I'm not Gasterias in a serious way so the intergeneric hybrids are interesting.
It absolutely is - I know a lot more about the correct name of some of the plants on the older videos now but amazingly, the ‘Black Gem’ hybrid is still usually seen in Garden Centres as H pentagona which is the name it was supplied with 😜
addendum to the commentary - the plant that was bought clearly labelled as Aloe Haworthiodes was subsequently identified as the hybrid 'cultivar' - 'PePe', so NB that please! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I want to get some more Aloes but I am restricted in terms of space. Can you please recommend some Dwarf/Small aloe species that do not make up for their diminutive size by clumping profusely. I prefer species rather than hybrids.
Asaaalam u Alaikum! Kayf haluq? Ana bi khair!
I have a type of aloe that blooms a big, pink flower and is very spiky. I'm not sure what the variety is called & it hasn't blossomed since I got it. How can I figure out what kind it is?
Sally Young Great question Sally! The ‘stones’ or horticultural grit is just on top of the compost to stop soil washing away and also to make the plants look nice!
Love your video, I am a certified Aloe/Agave fanatics😂

Vina Jalipa that’s a really good point my friend! I think it should!
