What other chatbots you had in mind? What is essential here is to have the Custom Action that understands how to Make API request to Airtable . Also GPT4 is quite good with understanding Airtable and Airtable formulas, so it makes reasonable requests (most of the time).

Sort of maybe , but not with this exact approach. Here we are using Chat GPT to generate a search formula that returns some limited subset of records. Your could connect Sheets via Make.com - see my other videos about Sheets and Make. Using that you could use some search parameters available , but it will not be a very advanced search or sort result.
