  • It’s inshore fishing tournament time again!
The other day we posted about how we prepared for an inshore slam fishing tournament, and today we’ll reveal how it went.
This was a slam tournament in an area that I’d previously only fished once several years ago, and in the video below I’ll break down what we did right and what we did wrong on tournament day.
Note: The Lure & Equipment details are all posted in the "Full Tournament Day post linked below.

You guys are fishing my area. Next time you head down this way
( Pasco county ) I would like to show you a area that I believe is the best fishing spot ( area ) in Pasco county.

Good job guys! Was it an artificial tournament?

This was not an artificial tournament... I just prefer using articials (especially when fishing new waters), so I stuck with some trusted lures.

Nice to know Tarpon Springs holds more than trout. I live there and all I catch is trout.

don't complain next time you go there & don't catch a whole lot. After all you just told everyone where the hot spot is.

ao s this spot is known to a whole lot of people in the New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs area. alot of people fish it... I know this because I live near there and I always see anglers there... open your eyes I'm not giving anything up besides an OLD KNOWN SPOT.

Tragic but that jack wasn’t worth saving i would’ve got my hook back

That was actually someone else's hooks... our lure hooked it right in the corner of its mouth. The other hook that someone else used was surely close to rusted out, so we def didn't want it and it was surely better for the jack to let it rust out vs. trying to dislodge it from its stomach.
