- Several New Ferry Terminals opened on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok to serve the public better. The se Terminals are used by the Express Ferry and Mine Smart Ferry.
I had a look at the Sathorn Pier, Si Phraya Pier, Memorial Bridge Pier and Grand Palace station. At the Sanam Chai MRT station they are building a new pier called Rajinee.

Wow what an improvement to the old pier and ferries .. This is the area i have been staying on my trips to bangkok for over 20 years and these new ferries are beautiful 100% a step in the right direction on helping the river get back to blue...L.A Rob

This is a new piers of Chaopraya express boat .There is another place.Right now Bangkok have many project under improvement.

I can’t believe the changes to Si Praya and Tha Chang pier ! It’s like it changed over night.. I saw construction on Tha Chang in March 2020 but nothing started at Si Praya while I was there ..unreal .
The Saphan Thaksin pier and the Thachang pier both looks very nice, clear and new after the Renovation. 🙏
we hardly find in Italy along the rivers these wonderful and even elegant structures used for the services offered by navigation 👏👏👏

Funny no people. I was there with Peter last month and used this pier many times to go to the Iconsiam. Lot of people, but now all from Bsngkok go to their Families. Songkran,allways good stay in Bangkok this time

The first ferry that arrived to to pier is the 100% Electric Boat has been made by Thai company. That's why you mention how quiet the ferry.
Just got one within walking distance of my condo and am very happy about it, but wish the CP Express boats would run up here too

I am not able to go to Thailand almost 2 years now. I saw my lovely condo in the video and our condo boat 🚤 park (have to look from the Terminals side.)Our boat is blue roofing.
I always 👀 from my living room window to see ASIANTIQUE and Dinner boat every night 🥲.
I will let you know as soon as me and my husband ready to go 👍. Took about 5 minutes to walk to ICON SIAM from my condo.

I really like your channel following the progress in Bkk.
You should consider having an eye on areas which are wheelchair friendly or accessible for disabled people. This is a big problem in Thailand and a lot of disabled people are just locked up at home because they can’t really go anywhere. This starts with the pavements and BTS/MRT and is also true for may shopping centers etc.

great update on river transport ! the electric boats are amazing .. was wondering if there are artists lofts or older standalone quarters to rent near one of these piers with both river connection to IconSiam mall and via bts to terminal 21 mall etc .. thanks !

The image quality and content of your videos are really good. Thank you. It’s been only a few years since I was last in Bangkok but you make me want to come back already. Just wondering what kind of mic you are using to record audio. I find that sometimes the background noise is quite strong. I use a Rode lapel/lavalier which helps to reduce sound from all directions except from the speaker.

Just curious how come the electricity for the boats.....if it comes from a proper renewable energy it's ok otherwhise if it's produced from comodities like coal, gaz or oil.....the problem is still not fixed.....but nice video !

Bangkok loses a lot of charm if they get rid of the old piers and only have electric boats. I hope the Chao Phraya express boats continue their service with the whistling 😗

Bangkok will be loses lots of charms and another bad point about this new buildings and electric shit boats is a building and making with bloody Chines money, mean borrow from China then go under China soon like some part of Cambodia ( Sihanoukville ) i hope to this Chao Phraya express boats will running in future, especially my favorit orange flag.

Thailand in private sectors or government sectors have a little less than 0.5% loan from china. Term and conditions from domestic loan easily than borrow from china and some of condition are unacceptable.

I prefer MINE Smart Ferry coz away from microwave hot, spacious seat and direct to Nonthaburi or North Bangkok without change.
Electric ferry, like electric car, electric scooter, electric tuk tuk, - but not 'electrical'.

EA Mobility Hoding Co., Ltd is a Major Share Holder of NEX (40%)
EA design the ship and made the batteries themselves but outsource the blueprint for Italthai marine to build in their shipyard

Sometimes it saddens me even though the current government has accomplished so many great things for this country, but there are still many people who still can't get over the past and still are loyal and devoted to the previous prime minister, Taksin Chinnawat, in which these people violently and verbally attack our current Prime Minister non-stop. Thai politics had been so corrupted and evil until our current one and yet, this government receives the most verbal abuses on most social platforms. Mr Taksin Chinnawat is a narcissist who wants to be Thailand president and has been attempting to overthrow our government and the monarchy in which another group of Thai people who elected our current prime minister and who are loyal to the Monarchy are opposing this group and are trying to protect the King and the Jakri dynasty. At present, there are not only the red-shirt (Taksin devoters) group, but Taksin's alliance, Thanathorn, he is behind a new political group (Progressive Thailand) who are trying to seize the government and the Monarchy power by forming alliances and use IO and social medias to spread fake news and stir up hatred among younger generation towards those two aforementioned institutions.
Unstable goverment are easily control by foreign power, in this period of time like this, it’s a completion of new world order and to fix the dollar value, the whole world should undercontrol by US empire and become a real value according to dollar. So the Inflation rate in the US could be fix. That’s why US goverment try their best to surroud china. And thailand is in the major strategic geopolitic. So the foreign power should make sure thailand goverment must be undercontrol just like Ukrain have a jewish clown president with us citizen control other country to go to war.
I have lived in Thailand over 17 years. Usually private enterprise and government projects will be completed with the best designs looking “trendy” or appealing to the eye. The question is: Will the completed project be maintained during the years or… allowed to gradually crumble away? Will junk and dirty walls be taking over the premises?
The noise that the new pier makes is terrible.
