Actually TBH, overall the game doesn't have that many cutscenes and this was the first quest to have a lot of them. but the ones that it does have are pretty impressive. And the next big quest 'The War Within' has been teased to have some epic cinematics as well. Super hyped.
***** well, when the game first came out there really wasn't that much content and I don't think that the developers were entirely sure that the game would be successful, thus they made it free to play. (plus it's technically still in beta) but anyway as it sits now the game is pretty successful. There's a decent sized fan base and it consistently makes the top 20 list on steam. Not to mention they try to make there players happy by constantly improving and adding content to the game. Sorry this is such a long comment, but anyway the point I'm getting at is I feel the same way about investing money in this game with no regret whatsoever and sometimes I even buy plat without a discount coupon.
You have it a bit wrong. To kill a warframe, you need to destroy their ship, and in particular their pods. Used to be that you can kill all warframes you just needed to find the Moon. So now the Tenno would be much harder to destroy.
I am in LOVE with the way that DE is taking the storyline for Warframe. I cannot wait to see just how far this goes and what it will be like once we reach the end.
instead of making it just the cutscenes you made it more game play with dialog, which is great because if it was just the scenes it would get a little jarring, well done!
I hope when we fight hunhow we are able to do it in all types of mission, like first a Archwing mission like defense for a weapon to get ready to take out its shield or something like that, then a pursuit to damage him some and then maybe a sabotage mission from within him.
You see Destiny! This is how story and reveals are done. You lead then played through lore based gameplay and deepen the mystery. Then you have the reveal and Boom. Great story telling Jesus.
1: kind of. I personally think they are basically like 'avatars' (I'm sure you have seen the movie 'avatar') they are robotic but can still bleed and stuff. (even though pretty sure in the movie they were not robotic at all) but basically it's a shell that is controlled by your tenno remotely thru transcendence. 2: yes the tenno look very humanoid.
1, The warframes are robots that the Tenno pour their mind and power into. 2, The Tenno ARE human, just altered by the void to have powers they cant control.
See, this was actually a big question that kind of went at odds with the gameplay. Stalker drops rare loot that you can't get anywhere else. Ergo, they _had_ to keep Stalker in the game after the events of this quest, yet it doesn't make sense for him to keep killing warframes now that he knows that he's never killed a single Tenno.
Im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy this person isnt making characters for the Accual game..Ugly is barily enough ._.. Still infomative video thats good at least
the stalker is a tenno too but i think he is an operator and not a sleeping pilot controling a warframe like all the others, as when he was in the second dream controling his warframe he happened to stumble upon himself his operator and it drove him mad.
Stalker is a mysterious character who hunts the player after killing bosses. He will send you a death threat after killing some bosses at random which states "Your Actions Have Consequences". He then has a random chance of spawning in most missions. He drops relatively good weapons, especially his bow, Dread. In the cutscenes, the Sentient Hunhow refers to him as Shadow. It is unknown if the Stalker was once Tenno or not. After completing The Second Dream, the regular Stalker that players have a chance to encounter will be replaced by Shadow Stalker, a much tougher version which can grow immunities to damage types if enough damage is dealt to him of that type, just like sentient enemies (Battlysts, Oculysts, Concusysts). Not too much is known about his backstory, though...
Stalkers are just annoying little brother or sisters are jellies of your new shiny toys. They will try to knock you down and making fun of your lame toy telling you that there's are more superior.
+breakblade97 No they are not sentient (at least this is my understanding) Warframes are mechanical suits, HOWEVER are also made up of living tissue that's why during missions and such sometimes they bleed. The warframes are controlled by you...The operator, (the person you get to customize towards end of video) Anyway my understanding is it's basically like the movie 'avatar' the person actually controlling the warframe is just sitting in a chair in your ship and is being transcended into what ever warframe you have equipped.
+OmegaShenron6670 I think the warframe seemed to be sentient when it broke War, though it could very well be the operator doing that. I like to think the warframe somehow gained its own sapience at that moment, it would make things interesting.
Ricardo Trancoso yea your right about when it breaks war...I was confused by that. So ya I'm not sure, that is a good point you made because up until the sword breaking, the operator was touching the warframe or was in the warframes arms, thus controlling the warframe. so thanks for that now I'm really confused lol.
When he stabbed my excal prime during the climax I was all "Asshole, I paid 50 bucks for that!"
+Reaper00140 Jajajaja i love your reaction xD xD
It got better.
I dont pay shit for mine what fun is it to buy warframe when you can earn it plus I screames when he stabbed my inaros
You must be new here. Excal prime was available ONLY through purchase of the founder's package so don't act all smug.
+gunner creppel (darksoul games)
nah inaros is fine he tanky af
"you now are more vulneable than ever"
instajump to his death
I love the way hunhow said "cleave it beating from its nest" so scary.
Holy shit this quest was an emotional roller coaster! Ya done good DE!
still not compared with undertale :D
It was without a doubt better than undertale
good morning. 1 year late mate
It's more of an emotional roller coaster than talking with Salad V.
I remember when I first play this quest. When my Tenno wrapped her arm around my Warframe I cried. :'(
Didn't know this game had such amazing cutscenes, its good investment I have put up so far then. I hope they keep it up.
Actually TBH, overall the game doesn't have that many cutscenes and this was the first quest to have a lot of them. but the ones that it does have are pretty impressive. And the next big quest 'The War Within' has been teased to have some epic cinematics as well. Super hyped.

Runehunter7 it truly is
Yo that was fucking INSANE DE needs to do more shit like this.
+johnyamahm ikr
theres always dark sector /watch?v=gzsLrcTNfO8 its an old ps3 game which was the start of warframe
WAR WITHIN HYPE
OMG so hyped for 'the war within' sucks it got delayed...
Hi i'm from the future! and we estimate that at least its going to be in september
Best story I've seen in a game! The music adds a lot to the feel and atmosphere of the game.
....So now, to kill the warframes... you just have to blow up their ships? neat.
+JoeMartinez18 yep...pretty much
Lol
hard to find their ships though with its void cloak and all
You have it a bit wrong.
To kill a warframe, you need to destroy their ship, and in particular their pods.
Used to be that you can kill all warframes you just needed to find the Moon.
So now the Tenno would be much harder to destroy.
Trifon Trifonov
True... blowing up one place is easier than blowing up hundreds or millions of tiny ships.
*Confirmed to be better than Destiny 2's story.*
we could've seen that from a mile away, even when destiny 2 was announced.
Destiny 2 is dead already
Just make a movie already DE
I would more then welcome a short anime series. Think the game atmosphere/ art style would be epic as an anime.
No. I dont want to hate this because its an anime, it deserves better.
@@TheBirdsDen ye
Litrally after i completed this and went on a mission, Stalker showed up.
He wants his revenge
Xd love when he said must....get....mod then, orokin cell WTF?
What?
That was frustrating as fuck. I was like FUCK THE DAMN MOD! FUCK THE OROKIN CELL! get to extraction!
0:23 R.i.p loki
I still get the most sinister chills when I hear the phrase "cleave it beating from its nest". Probably one of Warframe's best quests ever.
I am in LOVE with the way that DE is taking the storyline for Warframe. I cannot wait to see just how far this goes and what it will be like once we reach the end.
instead of making it just the cutscenes you made it more game play with dialog, which is great because if it was just the scenes it would get a little jarring, well done!
the hardest choice I had to make in this game....Naramon...or Vazarin...
at 9:39 rip that guy
I hope when we fight hunhow we are able to do it in all types of mission, like first a Archwing mission like defense for a weapon to get ready to take out its shield or something like that, then a pursuit to damage him some and then maybe a sabotage mission from within him.
Im pretty sure that would be a pain.
You see Destiny! This is how story and reveals are done. You lead then played through lore based gameplay and deepen the mystery. Then you have the reveal and Boom. Great story telling Jesus.
9:34 that steam message is accurate to the tenno feelings
Metal puppet he said
i like how it uses all of his weps in the dialog
"damn i fucked up and gotta do it again"
The scene was basically made for the bigger warframes like Excal or Rhino
How is excalibur a "big" warframe like rhino exactly?
where is the sword is it
still in the body?
Well it gets taken out, and then you get the broken sword. itll be in your mail.
And you use it
Just finished this quest myself, it was pretty awesome. It was also kind of funny to think a kid was controlling a Rhino Warframe.
no matter how many times I washed I got emotional every time got me 😥
Is it cool if I use this footage for a music video? I'll give you credit obviously.
haha your friend. Damm i fucked up* XD i think thats what your char must be thinking too XD
+LinksRoyal Ya lol...I had a really hard time getting past the stalker, it took me like over 10 minutes, hence why the video is cut XD
holy crap i need to do this quest
i picked unari that turns things into stone and when you hit it with anything it does critcal damge
Best mission to be honest.
damn i fucked up and gotta do it again
7:55 lol how long did it take u to figure out wut u actually have to do there lmaoooo xddd
Daaamn Hunhow is scary as fuck...
She says about the war within
Madurai FTW.... ^^
wow, um ok
i learned some stuff
1: the warframes are just robotic extensions of the tenno
2: the tenno look like humans, and might as well be humans
1: kind of. I personally think they are basically like 'avatars' (I'm sure you have seen the movie 'avatar') they are robotic but can still bleed and stuff. (even though pretty sure in the movie they were not robotic at all) but basically it's a shell that is controlled by your tenno remotely thru transcendence.
2: yes the tenno look very humanoid.
yes thats what i mean!
i should add this to the wiki soon...
1, The warframes are robots that the Tenno pour their mind and power into.
2, The Tenno ARE human, just altered by the void to have powers they cant control.
i see
Is it ok if I use some clips from this video?
how did he get the helmet on valkyr
+Juliane Zander Piana It's a helmet that comes with a skin. It's the Valkyr Gersemi skin.
2:07 was scary
So, the stalker is an adult Tenno?
how do you access thus mission?
Neptune Junction reward
Is that blood on the warframes shoulder when it tears the sword out?
Yup. Warframes aren't just metal, they are part infested.
Rip tenno
Mfw hungover said the names of stalkers weapons
11:09 Foreshadowing?
so now, what the stalker will become ?
+XtRMjinzo what do you mean?
OmegaShenron6670 what does he will become ?
he will become shadow stalker lol the normal stalker is replaced by shadow stalker
+Sur Loths Does his voice stay the same or does he actually say the words now as he did during the mission?
See, this was actually a big question that kind of went at odds with the gameplay. Stalker drops rare loot that you can't get anywhere else. Ergo, they _had_ to keep Stalker in the game after the events of this quest, yet it doesn't make sense for him to keep killing warframes now that he knows that he's never killed a single Tenno.
BEST QUEST ! ! ! !
Im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy this person isnt making characters for the Accual game..Ugly is barily enough ._.. Still infomative video thats good at least
+finalfantasy val LOL...I was kind of going for a weird looking sci-fi chick, shaved head, blue lips, white eyes, I think my tenno looks fantastic.
your operator DOES look sci fi, Dont listen to him he just wants some sexy woman as his tenno
TY.
finalfantasy val then that's lotus
Why Stalker did this? watching his hand? 3:35
late response but I think he hesitated because he thought he's controlled aswell.
Oh thanks
the stalker is a tenno too but i think he is an operator and not a sleeping pilot controling a warframe like all the others, as when he was in the second dream controling his warframe he happened to stumble upon himself his operator and it drove him mad.
+Duriax TV he just got his nails done by his Tenno.
He was making sure his nails aren't ruin by the water nearby
they killed Loki OHH HE THINKS HE'S BETTER THAN LOKI DAMN U STALKER
He killed A loki, plus it will come back
And who is he?
Someone (very informative) tell me what is stalker
Stalker is a mysterious character who hunts the player after killing bosses. He will send you a death threat after killing some bosses at random which states "Your Actions Have Consequences". TheDragonfriday. I love stalker lol
👍👍👍👍👍
I picked Unairu...
TheKT Legacy Me too... Sucks.
So warframes themselves are sentient?
+breakblade97 No they are not sentient (at least this is my understanding) Warframes are mechanical suits, HOWEVER are also made up of living tissue that's why during missions and such sometimes they bleed. +OmegaShenron6670 I believe it was the lotus who controlled the Warframe at the end
+Bradley Anderson lotus is a lot more experienced with the lore so I am gonna ask her when we can but yes lotus saved us at the end
