OMG, I remember seeing this on TV back then. It rocked big time and was used as an early childhood exercise on helping me learn how to master literacy. The same thing applies with Madeline's Rescue. Not to be rude, but the voice over of the woman who serves as the narrator spoke English fairly well without any problem at all back in the old days.
Pretty odd how all of the girls (other than Madeline), looked identical in these early films, what with all of them having black hair and the same hairstyle (although, black hair is the most common hair color in real life.)

Thank you very much. It makes me go back to childhood 😊
You gotta love that very rigid Czechoslovakian animation. I say that as a compliment, by the way.
I have no idea this existed
4:04 That's grim, very loyal to the book.
7:24 That kiss though 😂
Well, this takes place in France, where kisses on cheeks is customary.
@@nathansullivan8472 I'm aware. I just find it cute since they end up close friends and possibly having a crush on each other.
@@nathansullivan8472 True.
@@rinzzzzie718, in the TV series, Pepito is Madeline's love interest.
The Music , due to the film's quality , sounds out of tune
pepito is iconic lol

I can’t say for sure, but I think that was the point. It made Madeline stand out from the rest of the girls.
From Eureeka’s Castle 🏰
The music sounds a bit off
Are there any more of these
The music is so funny!
I think the music is kinda creepy like listen to the end music 7:50
I don’t really understand what the narrator is saying
This is a different version of the story that I have. The VHS video that I have has Madeleine and the Spanish boy being abducted by a gypsy carnival.
Oh, that's a different story. That's "Madeline and the Gypsies."
@@tmamone83 Correct!
This is so creepy to me
Me too like the music at the end creeped me out
The 1991 was less uncanny
This should be noted to MK2, the company who released all of Charlie Chaplin's fimms!..
