What's the point of having a large and growing population when there's not enough jobs to go around. All my relatives are unemployed here in India and they're all highly educated
Consumption and innovation. Old people dont build the inventions of the future, young people do. The old also dont buy or invest they take. Once there is more old then young it all falls down like a ponzi scheme.
Because with more people there would be more demand for goods and services, so more people would be needed. If you have no people, you would have nothing.
India 🇮🇳 is losing its battle against population explosion - India's population is expected to be 1.6 billion by 2030 and over 2 billion by 2050 - Demographers know India's landmass can only sustain 1.5 billion people, not more than that - India's already suffering from unemployment, hunger, brain🧠drain, lack of water💧, poverty etc. today with just 1.4 billion inhabitants
Having a growing population in today's world is not something to be proud of. We are not even proud of it, our media seldom mention about it. A clear sign it's something to be worried about rather than to boast about

India 🇮🇳 continues to be a big worry for the World Health Organization - It performs badly in all international 🌎 sports events - A clear sign of physical and mental plus emotional weakness commonly associated with a country in decline 📉
India 🇮🇳 continues to be a big worry for the World Health Organization - States of Northeast India, particularly Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh are world famous for the consumption of dog 🐕 meat - India 🇮🇳 continues to have the world's highest per capita level of dog meat 🍖 consumption in 2023
Even here in India, we don't even boast about our population now being the largest. As a matter of fact, it worries most of us as many people are urging the government implement laws to limit childbirth
Shame on India 🇮🇳 than. You need to increase the population of India otherwise Hindus will die out. Muslims have higher birth rates, If India implements those laws it will only effect Hindus. Hindus need to think about their future.

They're investing heavily on AI. - Developing countries with a growing population such as India🇮🇳 would be deprived the opportunity to industrialise and remain poor, forever 😢
They don't want to be like poor India. India has dropped even further down the starving index compared to last years number. From 101 in 2021 to 107 in 2022. Which puts India starvation problems in the extremely alarming category. The worst category you can be in with countries like Pakistan, Sudan, Congo, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nigeria on average can afford 2 to 3 meals a day whilst India can only afford 0 to 1 meal each day.

India 🇮🇳 continues to be a big worry for the World Health Organization - Climate change would put tremendous water stress on India's projected 1.6 billion people by 2030. - Already Indian cities are running out of water while groundwater reservoirs are drying up, affecting agricultural production - Made worse by China's ambitious water diversion projects that would channel Tibetan water flowing into India to China 🇨🇳 leaving Indians high and dry
According to the latest WHO report on world nutrition, the Chinese government is doing a great job in ensuring adequate calorie intake for the 1.4 billion Chinese citizens. At 3,200 cal. per day which is slightly above the 2,500 cal. as recommended by the WHO. India however, continues to be of great concern for the WHO, almost ⅔ of all malnourished children in the world below the age of 5 come from India alone
India 🇮🇳 continues to be a source of great concern to the WHO - India can't even handle Covid, with Indians reduced to begging on their knees for oxygen concentrators not so long ago - How is India going to face climate change?
I think this is not a Chinese-only problem. In many developed/developing societies, expanded opportunities (career, self-improvement, or just want more time for themselves when they are still young, etc) are impacting women of child bearing age. All of the sudden, they turn 40 with their biologic clock ticking away. This affects men also, but in a more delayed way.
I'd say it's more of a broader Asian problem. Europe and North America are able to compensate for low birth rates through immigration (it's why the US is the only developed nation projected to see population growth through the year 2100), but that option is deeply unpopular in Asian countries.
If you study only the white demographic in the U.S. and Europe, you will find that it is at the same rate of demographic decline as China or East Asia. The major difference is that East Asia has a homogeneous population with a culture that goes back thousands of years. In addition Asia does not have the dysfunctional single parent fatherless family structure of the U.S. nor the self-destructive lifestyle.
Seriously, two to three children - is perfect. But what life would those children have. This is the question. It is better to think on that then the feelings of another mind. The world is big. Remember that. -No Worries.
It's simple, because the job position does not require or even exclude employees from getting married and having multiple children. The solution is to gradually reduce the corporate income tax rate based on the proportion of employees who have married two or more children.
They need to have a family leave plan. Imagine you work so hard to get to the top and then you got pregnant, then have to leave the company to go have the baby. Someone else is going to take your job when you are gone because everyone is replaceable, then you have to start from the bottom again.
Chinese leaders are scared to death about the consequences of climate change. They're building the massive South-North Water Diversion Project to divert water flowing into India from Tibet, in order to solve the water crisis in China arid northern regions. Modi, however, is embarking on another project of his own. To build India's new parliament 😂
European/Western countries solved “baby bust” by allowing more immigration from Asia, Africa, ect. So more jobs are being done by immigrants. China can do the same 👍 Although first choice for most immigrants is usually USA 🇺🇸 then Australia 🇦🇺 then Canada 🇨🇦 then the western European countries then New Zealand 🇳🇿 then South European countries like Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal. China will probably be the last choice for most immigrants after the Southern European countries but still worth a shot 👍
It's going to be virtually impossible for China to solve the problem through immigration. By the 2040s, China will be losing 100 million people per decade. It will be hard to find 100 million people who want to immigrate to China every decade.
Rich, technologically advanced countries like China will be fine. The emergence of A.I technologies will compensate for any shrinkage in work force etc.
There are 100m people missing. They don't exist. So China is already 1.28-1.3 billion people. Youth unemployment is also 48% not 21%. We could go on and on here. The numbers (official ones) are all wrong. Shanghai Academy of Sciences and university is far closer to the mark.
China’s demographic problem is driven by urbanisation. In 2000 2/3 of China’s population lived in rural areas. By 2015 it flipped to 2/3 living in urban areas. Of course the elderly didn’t move so it’s all 20-40 year olds that made that move. In rural areas children are assets, they work the fields, tend the chickens and pigs, clean the house, help with cooking, etc. In urban areas children are expense centers, parents need larger flats, school fees, child care, etc. So all societies that urbanise see significantly reduced birth rates. China can’t reverse urbanisation and they can’t change the impact of urbanisation on birth rates. The Chinese population will get older and older, while it gets smaller and smaller, until it reaches a new equilibrium based on the lower birth rate. That’s projected to be 500 mio in 2050. That has very deleterious impacts on potential growth and economic activity.
It's not exclusive only in China..Most asian countries already slowed down.. Many factors are involved, but one thing for sure..In most asian countries woman don't see marriage and children is the main purpose of life..Unlike the old times..
The propaganda channel NHK World News did couple of stories on this same topic. Hypocritical is that Japan's birth ratehas been rapidly decreasing since 2008. Interesting is the "democratic"Japanese channel doesn't allows comments, even on the food shows, while China's CGTN allows their viewers to comment.
The exploding popularity of computer games is one reason why people are getting less interested in hooking up. Too much time spent on an activity that requires to you just sit alone in front of a monitor or smartphone...Hahaha!
You are wrong. If there is not enough population, it means there are many old retired people who governmetn needs to look after. But there are not many young people to work to pay for all the old people.
Chinese men need to stop attacking Chinese women for marrying foreigners, calling them “worshippers of the West”. It’s not about the race, it’s about the quality of the men.
