I agree, 2 wheels, 2 stroke, forever. I have a RD350LC year 1988 here in Brazil. Her performance is still unmatched by many much bigger bikes. I love two-stroke motorcycles. Loved the video. Hug.
I first saw Granty on the Kwaks too, but he has been around most of the factories in his time, including being a works Honda rider on the NR500 project; but not really Yamaha except the private TZ750's which I don't think he enjoyed riding.
I always wanted the RF125LC but never could afford one but also used to constantly look at them in the shops. I eventually got an MTX125 from Cusworths
RG500 NICE, BUT MY ROAD BIKE '05 GSF 650 BANDIT,, NOT EVEN A BANDIT S, WOULD HAVE ALL OF THESE BIKES FOR BREAKFAST!!!!!! BANDITS REALLY ARE THE BEST. AND I AIN'T EVEN LYING.
Yeah, put it along side to side with one of this bike. People will look at this than your bike. The bike is from 80's, with more than 40 years apart sure the four stroke faster than the two stroke. But Suter MMX faster than your bike. 😂😂😂😂
@@m5a1stuart83 Bandits aii about the acceleration over 80mph 2nd gear before the red-line, sure my '84 GPZ750TURBO 161 mph, could do 80mph in 2nd gear. First production bike any size to do standing quarter mile 10 seconds, my 650 Bandit is more riding JOY!!!.
@@scottlochans4180 that GPZ is slower than any of 500cc two stroke of its era in circuit. We cant compare bike seperate more than 20 years. Sure your Bandit now is faster than 80's bike since those bike were not produced again nowadays. But if we put Suter MMX againts 1000cc four stroke, the bike is comparable to current Superbike. Its lap time only 2 sec slower than the Moto 2 by 3rd level Racer (Fabrizio Lai). But your Bandit wont win againts 250cc V Twin in circuit for sure.
@@scottlochans4180 the GP 500 two stroke are good and fast, some even put 140hp at the back wheel with only 500cc from it (RG500). Those 80's bike could run up to 280-290kph in Hockenheim. You can see their speed from their official site in MotoGP.
Great to see and hear it again.
