That’s *Thee* Spider-Man... Tobey Maguire is truly the Christopher reeves of my generation. We all looked up to Tobey’s Peter Parker, no one did it better (IMO). Just like Reeves in the 80’s/90’s with Superman.
Many feel the og is the best. And I did grow up with this series. Although I feel as it has its writing problems and some tricky casting choices- they did certainly have a great design team and undeniably had an incredibly unforgettable, recognizable, iconic soundtrack. The moment you hear that trumpet lead line you immediately think of the 3rd movie or rather the symbiote suit. That movie has the most problems but probably the best soundtrack additions
Sadly I didn't grow up with the raimi trilogy but it's by far the best. Each character is adapted greatly and the morals lessons and emotions that are in the trilogy is unmatched. Along with so many other positives.
When I see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man: Cool When I see Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Humorous When I see Tobey Maguire's: The most accurate Spider-Man ever! He so faithfully accepts the concept of 'responsibilty' and resembles more than just a superhero. He struggles like ordinary 'humans' while other ones just can't do it (sorry other Spider-Men I like you guys too but Tobey has taken the lead).
By far my favorite Spider-Man I was born in 2002 when this first movie came out and to this day would love to see Tobey come back in the new Spider-Man no way home! I think that there is no best Spidey because you can't compare Tom Holland's Spiderman against the Tobey or Andrew Spiderman imo. Everyone played their role great. The MCU Spidey is a complete different Spiderman because he need to find his place in the MCU because there are a lot of other superheroes. The Tobey or Andrew Version of Spiderman lived in a world without these superheroes (Sorry if i made some mistakes, i am from germany and can't speak english well)
