Quite the variety of grade crossings and signals plus how the line goes urban to suburban thru woodland's to fatm fields. Seeing those new ties on a centerbeam sometimes occurs on the CP and you can imagine how lumber dealers must. Love all that creosote. Most interesting
Very good video. I am still very confused about how the G & U had slowly declined to only a few cars once in a while at Washington Mills.. Now it's at this level. How did this happen? This is better than it was when everything was fully functional at the Draper building isn't it?
@@BostonBeaconPark Who knows, John (the owner) has a lot of friends throughout the industry, and since the shops in N. Grafton are a great place to work at allegedly, don't be surprised when you see a really nice engine coming in for repairs, testing etc.
@@slashmaster2 They’ve been trying to fix them but are too busy with the MP15’s. I believe that’s why they’re going to scrap both 1750 and 1500 soon, technically speaking 1500 is practically the same thing as 1501 so you can use some of her parts to fix her
@@slashmaster2 the reason why they’re holding back on 1751 and 1501 is those are way less efficient than the MP15s. John also owns edaville railroad so he’s been focusing on that and on the MP15s and then he focused on these units as well. The PNLX locomotives are now gone and shipped off to metro north but John’s next focus is opening edaville back up. He’s had to focus on the opening of Thomas land, the propane facility opening up, the reopening of the line to Milford and beyond, and had to focus on fixing up the MP15s and all the crossing too. He’s a busy man but repairing locomotives that r less efficient than the ones he has running now isn’t on his to do list I bet
Nice catch!! Awesome air horn.
Some great shots here! That locomotive makes more sense than those weak MP15’s
Nothing weak about those mp15’s at all, good and dependable….

Thank you. Unfortunately I am not sure exactly what happened but generally customers no longer receive car loads and it’s a chain reaction from there
Won’t be the last time “foreign power” will be on the G&U
What else is coming

@@dcrailmedia8054 Really?.. They can't seem to get their own jeeps and F unit going. And other railroads send them locomotives to work on?...
