Hraesvelgr feels like a nice mythic, but she doesn't feel like a must pull, and why did they give her such weird colorsharing while making green the best value? For a game that is obsessed with waifus, I'm surprised they didn't do much for her.
probably because Heidrun is so much better and sells even more, they focused on her? idk but is so weird she is not even the main focus on her own banner

people Say offense is better but after askr and maybe seidr, i dont feel any offense mythic is worth enough LOOOOL But defense has gotten so many cool units :(
@@notjeckup it's because getting a specific unit is a gamble much worse than the other banners where you have less color sharing. Not everyone has the feh pass to get the one they want even if they don't get summoned before 40 pulls.
I find it strange that a lot of people thought we'd be getting a double mythic banner this month, but I have to say this banner is very lackluster and skippable. Hraesvelgr's only saving grace is her combat, but she feels she will age very poorly until she can finally get a remix, and the colorsharing is not that great, but hey, at least she has some good beast fodder.
Hraesvelgr seems like a fun mythic, and as much as I wanted her, this banner feels like a skip for me. Not to mention the colorsharing isn't that good and we already have some better light mythic options. Also, rip Ash.

I'm so excited for her she looks really cool and pretty fun unit with strong combat capabilities also her support is nice too although wish she got some form of canto in her weapon as it would have really help her in many situations although there's sigurd emblem ring and yeah I agree she should have the cleansing like Freyr it would have made her really unique and strong but either way I'm still gonna pull for her as I really like her and she still seems really fun and pretty strong too!! ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾

I actually got to see her in action. Iknow it's for AR-O which is more important but, there's so many light mythics and quite frankly a very bloated mythic type at this point. I don't even have Askr who i really want. Felt the same way with "Deer Dude" when he was an Astra Mythic. However my mind instantly changed when i saw how dominant he actually was in combat
Her support seems like it'll age pretty quick, combat is mostly what she's got going for her, also probably aging fast. A/S Fortune seems interesting, though!

Definitely looking for to the banner with Læraðr and Níðhöggr but for now I am probably going just aim for Hræsvelgr. However, I was really hoping base Fafnir was going to be the mythic hero because of the Book 5 Tempest Trials event. When Book 4 had theirs Freyr was added so my hopes feel a little low. Also very cool and informative video as always.

So sad about Ash. She's my favorite FEH OC and she's been my main Light mythic. I still find her warp useful, but only because it works on ANY unit, not because it's better than Soaring Guidance. Really hoping her remix improves Opening Retainer in some really impactful way, like expanding the range to three spaces, BoL support, more combat stats, Tempo during combat to allies, something nice.
I must admit, this banner feels very skippable. I mean I'm happy we finally got Hraesvelgr, but this honestly feels more like an Attuned Eirika banner than a mythic banner, especially after seeing Hraesvelgr's colorsharing...
Hope i can finish my Eikþyrnir merges this month and i'll finally be free with my Astra Core. I also want a copy of Hraesvelgr to give her special to Freyja, but if i get more of her, i'll put her in my core

Unfortunate that they released my favorite OC from this book when I'm summoning for Dagr, another of my favorite OCs, but because I don't enjoy summoning on this banners I'm most likely going to wait for her New Year alt and hope that it will be good or at least 4* focus
I've been liking Ash with sigurd ring, especially for getting AoE Felix in on teams I need to run marth on him in order to precharge it. Can break a frontline structure and canto 3 around and 2 spaces above him. If not needed and she just WoMs in it can help a lot with pinning and positioning.
This is the type of unit that's gonna get some kind of cracked sesonal version I feel. I'll wait for that, but on future legendaries she'll make the blue pool better for sure.
Was not expecting Hraesvelgr after that bad Blue pool, considering focusing on Green and Colorless just because her share is bad and simply sparking her. Regarding her as a unit, I'm just glad that the Bernie effect is now usable in a Galeforce'able unit. AND SHE HAS A FREE B SLOT FOR WoM!
Not related to Hraesvelgr, but as much as I love Attuned Eirika (heck, I generally think this alt is more tasteful as an "Eirika in Ephraim-style outfit" take over her Brave alt), I wish she was in November instead of here, because Eirika not being needed to fill out the green slot means that L!Ninian's chances of showing up on the FE7 Hall of Forms next month has dropped considerably (and I don't really see IS deciding to have her rerun on both HoF and the 8% banner simultaneously), due to the need to fill out the green slot and Brave Alfonse being slotted for December, and that greatly saddens me as a Ninian fan 😭

Always enjoy these tier lists and agree with your rankings as usual I kinda wish they'd have bonus AR-O myths give you the same lift as if they were max merged--or at least for the first month of their release--as I can never justify putting them on my team. Yes, you should. Arcane Blutgang is miles better than Eclipse. Even though you have an arcane weapon, it's not bad to update your favorites with a much better & modern arcane weapon

I feel IS doesn’t like Hraesvelgr, she is colorsharing with units that aren’t so good anymore and her cleansing is only on player phase. Hope her NY alt is better, assuming she is in the banner.
im so glad im not the only one who thought this banner was underwhelming. if anything its kinda weird that green feels like it has way more value than blue. seems like IS just wanted to get hrae out of the way
I got a fallen ursula off banner literally yesterday so blue is even worse. She looks cool but with 2/3 blue being unwantable i cant and i dont have feh pass. Gonna go some green for hopefully my first copy of heither
ACTUALY, that is a good point. every Tt had 5 new characters or versions and with Pjazi and Nidavellir and Reginn and Dagr, we dont know the 5yh one and Fáfnir is a huge posibility
@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Yeah, exactly! In fact, last year, we had 6 characters related to the TT story (A!Triandra, A!Peony, R!Plumeria, Eitr, Freyr, and Ginnungagap). I don't think we are gonna get six this time around, but I at the very least expect Fafnir in some shape or form. But Fallen Fafnir will likely happen on a future Fallen banner just like Fallen Gustav.
@@FrancisDashwood1 I don't think Freyr was part of the TT. That is why we got him as a Mythic. Because at the point we are, I don't think Fáfnir will be a Mythic and making him Attuned is not that crazy. I don't even remember Freyr appearing on TT also. I think this time Fáfnir had a wose chance because we will get everyone in this book for the first time, not like last ones. So he could not get the Mythic spot in time like Freyr did but is he is not Mythic, they can Release him on new heroes like you said and is not a crazy idea.
@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Making him an Attuned unit would have him keep his signature weapon whilst providing a potentially new good X skill for cavalry units is what I am hoping for. But yeah, you have a point with Freyr. It's just that Fafnir hasn't appeared in the current TT story either. So yeah, fingers crossed 🤞

Laeradr being a Legendary actually makes me be afraid... any for of him will be pain. And I never expected the day I would see Eir being better mythic than Ash. Thank you as always for the review. Sadly Hraesvelgr does not feel very good outside her nuke potential wich will be bad after 5 months. And the support is not enought. And I am really surprised you say Heidrun is even a top 3 unit. Oh, cleansing means to clean something very dirty, like for an example if boots are dirty you are acting to cleaning something, So that is what cleansing means.
Cleansing = Removing debuffs and any [Penalty] status effects. There are 5 main kinds of cleansing: 1) Safy Cleansing = Cleanses at start of player phase and Hresvelger has this too. This kind of cleansing was all we had for a long time with Even/Odd Recovery skills & Sara to cleanse effects like Isolation that was extremely dominant at that time in AR-D, because stuff like Isolation was quite dominant. This kind of cleansing falls flat against Embla as her [Feud] & [Undefended] will be applied again when your enemy phase begins. This cleansing benefits AR-D and player phase teams in AR-O. Midori is a unique mention who gained this cleansing upon her refine and is seen in AR-D sometimes because of it. 2) Freyr Cleansing = Cleanses at start of both phases and also against the skills that are applied at that same time. This invalidates entire units like Elimine and debuffs from skills from Ploys, Sabotage, Discord, Sudden Panic etc. Only Mid-turn penalties applied through Heidr, Ruse, Snag, Smokes etc will stay. The best kind of cleansing, so much so that many top players use off season Freyr in Dark Season. 3) Micaiah Cleansing = Cleanses at start of enemy phase but can only remove 2 [Penalty] status effects based on her priority list. This is the best cleansing out of Freyr's season especially on a unit like Attuned Micaiah who supports even more with her Omni-Guidance, Debuffs, Penalty to Bonus Conversation, Free Slot C to run BoL and nukes so hard that she can even kill Emblem Ike. A good solid middle ground for cleansing but smart opponents will overload Micaiah with easy to inflict status like Panic & Discord which are higher on her cleansing priority list and then she cannot cleanse actual problematic status' like Frozen, Stall, Ploy, Undefended, Feud etc. 5) Ymir Cleansing: Cleansing happens whenever Ymir targets or is targeted by an ally with an assist. It will fully cleanse any [Penalty] effects on herself & her target ally. This is manual cleansing, coming at the cost of action economy. Ymir unfortunately came before her time and did not get an "Extra Action" after an assist use, like so many units do nowadays but she could be used with units like Chroms who have extra action after their assist use & inflict Self-Isolation. 4) Selfish Cleansing: This cleansing only works for it's user and gives no support to their allies. Emblas have player phase self-cleansing in her PRF Slot C and Brave Bernadetta also can self-cleanse with her Slot C while reflecting any negative status she has onto foe closest to her in 5 spaces. Recently we have got Eikþyrnir who has a dual phase self-cleansing in his PRF Slot B but does not cleanse penalties that are applied at the same time unlike Freyr. This makes him one of the best users of Sigurd Ring for +1 MOV as he will always cleanse the [Stall] status. There are some skills that can do "cleansing" 1) Verge of Death, Crystalline Water & Stronghold = These skills have dual phase cleansing, but only cleanse Panic & the debuffs to the two main stats they boost. Their scope of cleansing is very limited, but still effective for the AoE Nukes or Tanks that just like to focus on two of their most important stats. 2) Harsh Command+/Maiden's Solace = This cleansing is also manual but a fine way of making use of an action of an Armor like Duma in AR-D. Even in SD, Harsh Command+ is still used on Save Armors or any unit whose movement is non-volatile, you can use HC+ to not only stall an action and scout what your enemy does but also get rid of major annoying status like [Stall] & [Hush Spectrum] that can change the mobility & matchup of a unit drastically. It's also 400SP Assist, useful for Arena Scoring.
@Pheonixmaster1 Oh, I literally thought Cleansing was a meaning in real life. My apologies for making you confused. Yeah, I get it now skills like. Harsh Command+ removes certain penalties from one unit only, so that makes sense. That was my mistake. I literally thought he was talking about cleansing in real life. Also, debuffs like Crystalline Water have an Atk and Resistance+ 8 and a -8 to defence so that makes sense on why I was completely thinking the opposite.
Vantage is sleeper good imo, like I seriously believe the people who talk about this game don't experiment enough and just assume meta is all about the best thing you could play rather than an intersection of best thing you could play and ease of use. Like people don't actually know what half the skills do at a glance, like I don't think people are experimenting enough.
That is true, what is best available to you does make a difference. I have experimented a lot with Vantage, it can work with new tools like Creation Pulse & Null C Echo but it's not consistent enough right now because of Unpiercable/Flat DR/Divine Nectar making it harder to kill units in a single hit, not to mention the influx of Hardy Bearing to deal with Emblem Ike which ends up cross-firing when you are trying to Vantage. It's even more true for F2P players who have fewer resources to put into a Vantage as a playstyle. Every single AR-D map at the top ranks ends up having a combination of Brave F!Robin, Brave Felix, Emblem Sigurd, Attuned Micaiah, Heidrun who all are major roadblocks for successfully executing Vantage even if they don't carry Hardy Bearing and things like Hush Spectrum, Status Stealing of Nergal/Tina makes it even harder.

Assuming you are talking about Tea Ayra & Spring Chloe, the latter cannot get it and the former is too player phase focused. For OG Ayra & OG Chloe, yes, both can run Atk/Spd Excel. OG Ayra can run it with Laguz Friend to stack DR. OG Chloe can also run with Pegasus Rift. Sparking on the Aided Dagr banner is the easiest way right now.

Unfortunate that they released my favorite OC from this book when I'm summoning for Dagr, another of my favorite OCs, but because I don't enjoy summoning on this banners I'm most likely going to wait for her New Year alt and hope that it will be good or at least 4* focus
I've been liking Ash with sigurd ring, especially for getting AoE Felix in on teams I need to run marth on him in order to precharge it. Can break a frontline structure and canto 3 around and 2 spaces above him. If not needed and she just WoMs in it can help a lot with pinning and positioning.
This is the type of unit that's gonna get some kind of cracked sesonal version I feel.
I'll wait for that, but on future legendaries she'll make the blue pool better for sure.

Was not expecting Hraesvelgr after that bad Blue pool, considering focusing on Green and Colorless just because her share is bad and simply sparking her.
Regarding her as a unit, I'm just glad that the Bernie effect is now usable in a Galeforce'able unit. AND SHE HAS A FREE B SLOT FOR WoM!
Not related to Hraesvelgr, but as much as I love Attuned Eirika (heck, I generally think this alt is more tasteful as an "Eirika in Ephraim-style outfit" take over her Brave alt), I wish she was in November instead of here, because Eirika not being needed to fill out the green slot means that L!Ninian's chances of showing up on the FE7 Hall of Forms next month has dropped considerably (and I don't really see IS deciding to have her rerun on both HoF and the 8% banner simultaneously), due to the need to fill out the green slot and Brave Alfonse being slotted for December, and that greatly saddens me as a Ninian fan 😭
What an interesting bold artistic choice from IS to have the new mythic as a blue unit and yet the green pool is x20 times better...

Yes, you should. Arcane Blutgang is miles better than Eclipse. Even though you have an arcane weapon, it's not bad to update your favorites with a much better & modern arcane weapon
Hræsvelgr looks nice, but isn't a must-pull, especially considering who she is coloursharing with. It's strange seeing a banner where the star isn't even in the best colour.

ACTUALY, that is a good point. every Tt had 5 new characters or versions and with Pjazi and Nidavellir and Reginn and Dagr, we dont know the 5yh one and Fáfnir is a huge posibility
@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Yeah, exactly! In fact, last year, we had 6 characters related to the TT story (A!Triandra, A!Peony, R!Plumeria, Eitr, Freyr, and Ginnungagap). I don't think we are gonna get six this time around, but I at the very least expect Fafnir in some shape or form. But Fallen Fafnir will likely happen on a future Fallen banner just like Fallen Gustav.
@@FrancisDashwood1 I don't think Freyr was part of the TT. That is why we got him as a Mythic. Because at the point we are, I don't think Fáfnir will be a Mythic and making him Attuned is not that crazy.
I don't even remember Freyr appearing on TT also.
I think this time Fáfnir had a wose chance because we will get everyone in this book for the first time, not like last ones. So he could not get the Mythic spot in time like Freyr did but is he is not Mythic, they can Release him on new heroes like you said and is not a crazy idea.

What is "cleansing"?
Oh, cleansing means to clean something very dirty, like for an example if boots are dirty you are acting to cleaning something, So that is what cleansing means.
Cleansing = Removing debuffs and any [Penalty] status effects.
There are 5 main kinds of cleansing:
1) Safy Cleansing = Cleanses at start of player phase and Hresvelger has this too. This kind of cleansing was all we had for a long time with Even/Odd Recovery skills & Sara to cleanse effects like Isolation that was extremely dominant at that time in AR-D, because stuff like Isolation was quite dominant. This kind of cleansing falls flat against Embla as her [Feud] & [Undefended] will be applied again when your enemy phase begins. This cleansing benefits AR-D and player phase teams in AR-O. Midori is a unique mention who gained this cleansing upon her refine and is seen in AR-D sometimes because of it.
2) Freyr Cleansing = Cleanses at start of both phases and also against the skills that are applied at that same time. This invalidates entire units like Elimine and debuffs from skills from Ploys, Sabotage, Discord, Sudden Panic etc. Only Mid-turn penalties applied through Heidr, Ruse, Snag, Smokes etc will stay. The best kind of cleansing, so much so that many top players use off season Freyr in Dark Season.
3) Micaiah Cleansing = Cleanses at start of enemy phase but can only remove 2 [Penalty] status effects based on her priority list. This is the best cleansing out of Freyr's season especially on a unit like Attuned Micaiah who supports even more with her Omni-Guidance, Debuffs, Penalty to Bonus Conversation, Free Slot C to run BoL and nukes so hard that she can even kill Emblem Ike. A good solid middle ground for cleansing but smart opponents will overload Micaiah with easy to inflict status like Panic & Discord which are higher on her cleansing priority list and then she cannot cleanse actual problematic status' like Frozen, Stall, Ploy, Undefended, Feud etc.
5) Ymir Cleansing: Cleansing happens whenever Ymir targets or is targeted by an ally with an assist. It will fully cleanse any [Penalty] effects on herself & her target ally. This is manual cleansing, coming at the cost of action economy. Ymir unfortunately came before her time and did not get an "Extra Action" after an assist use, like so many units do nowadays but she could be used with units like Chroms who have extra action after their assist use & inflict Self-Isolation.
4) Selfish Cleansing: This cleansing only works for it's user and gives no support to their allies. Emblas have player phase self-cleansing in her PRF Slot C and Brave Bernadetta also can self-cleanse with her Slot C while reflecting any negative status she has onto foe closest to her in 5 spaces.
Recently we have got Eikþyrnir who has a dual phase self-cleansing in his PRF Slot B but does not cleanse penalties that are applied at the same time unlike Freyr. This makes him one of the best users of Sigurd Ring for +1 MOV as he will always cleanse the [Stall] status.
There are some skills that can do "cleansing"
1) Verge of Death, Crystalline Water & Stronghold =
These skills have dual phase cleansing, but only cleanse Panic & the debuffs to the two main stats they boost. Their scope of cleansing is very limited, but still effective for the AoE Nukes or Tanks that just like to focus on two of their most important stats.
2) Harsh Command+/Maiden's Solace =
This cleansing is also manual but a fine way of making use of an action of an Armor like Duma in AR-D. Even in SD, Harsh Command+ is still used on Save Armors or any unit whose movement is non-volatile, you can use HC+ to not only stall an action and scout what your enemy does but also get rid of major annoying status like [Stall] & [Hush Spectrum] that can change the mobility & matchup of a unit drastically. It's also 400SP Assist, useful for Arena Scoring.
@Pheonixmaster1 Oh, I literally thought Cleansing was a meaning in real life. My apologies for making you confused. Yeah, I get it now skills like. Harsh Command+ removes certain penalties from one unit only, so that makes sense. That was my mistake. I literally thought he was talking about cleansing in real life. Also, debuffs like Crystalline Water have an Atk and Resistance+ 8 and a -8 to defence so that makes sense on why I was completely thinking the opposite.

If/When Níðhöggr is released, I’m pulling for her.

Vantage is sleeper good imo, like I seriously believe the people who talk about this game don't experiment enough and just assume meta is all about the best thing you could play rather than an intersection of best thing you could play and ease of use. Like people don't actually know what half the skills do at a glance, like I don't think people are experimenting enough.
It's only good in a vacuum. Anything that just shuts it down makes it moot. And if you say B!Bernie, Tina smiles at all that buffs.
That is true, what is best available to you does make a difference. I have experimented a lot with Vantage, it can work with new tools like Creation Pulse & Null C Echo but it's not consistent enough right now because of Unpiercable/Flat DR/Divine Nectar making it harder to kill units in a single hit, not to mention the influx of Hardy Bearing to deal with Emblem Ike which ends up cross-firing when you are trying to Vantage. It's even more true for F2P players who have fewer resources to put into a Vantage as a playstyle. Every single AR-D map at the top ranks ends up having a combination of Brave F!Robin, Brave Felix, Emblem Sigurd, Attuned Micaiah, Heidrun who all are major roadblocks for successfully executing Vantage even if they don't carry Hardy Bearing and things like Hush Spectrum, Status Stealing of Nergal/Tina makes it even harder.

Assuming you are talking about Tea Ayra & Spring Chloe, the latter cannot get it and the former is too player phase focused.
For OG Ayra & OG Chloe, yes, both can run Atk/Spd Excel. OG Ayra can run it with Laguz Friend to stack DR. OG Chloe can also run with Pegasus Rift.
Sparking on the Aided Dagr banner is the easiest way right now.
