Exactly. By putting them in there they now have more rights than you. Also you have to fight the government to get them out. Which is a difficult and costly situation at best. When you go to court they will have a free lawyer while you pay thousands in legal fees and damage to the property and time and headaches and not to mention all the trouble they cause for other tenants. They need to build housing for them separately from working folks.
Imagine that! They have trashed hotels everywhere now imagine bringing them next door to you. Most of These people is not sane, they need treatment not just free housing!
Vouchers are basically guaranteed money for the landlord. However, there is a headache to house many Section 8 participants. I’m homeless and a developer, sort of an oxymoron😂. Yes, I ran a $50 Million real estate fund qualified by the SEC. But as a homeless advocate, I’m doing my part in impacting affordable housing.
Sorry but rent and deposit don't cover the damages caused by section 8 tenants. Ive worked section 8 properties for 30 years and those people are nasty horrible tenants.
@@saltminer9120 For 30 years? And, you couldn’t find quality and qualified tenants? There are over 40,000,000 million Americans that have Section 8 vouchers including me and not one has “live up to your standards.” Not one? That says more about YOU💯
@@MichaelGilmoreTV wow you need to learn to read. Where did i say what i did for work om those properties? Nice of you to assume I had something to do with leasing but i didnt. I was maintenance supervisor and had i been in leasing 90% of the trash who lived there wouldnt. Unfortunately i had the tasknof cleaning up after these pigs and only after I stopped working section 8 properties did it get better. Some people just don't give a fuk about living like pigs.
@@saltminer9120 “maintenance supervisor” is all I need to no: bye😂. There’s a difference between reading and critically reading 📚. But of course, you don’t know 👍🏿
Or like the lady they moved in next to me who doesn't wake up until 9pm then blast music all night, has multiple ppl living with her. Has had multiple fights day and night. Police are called and never show up. Management company does nothing.Let's not count the ppl in and out if there it's like a revolving door. We work and have a 9 y/o granddaughter who has hear all of the mess that goes on over there. I agree something needs to be done but there has to be some kind of follow up and assistance. There should also be classes that must be attended such as how to manage money, cleanliness, shopping and so on or at least make them get a part time job
I do not think a Landlord should do this while there is still an eviction moritium in place. Yes, we have landlords who have NOT BEEN PAID RENT SINCE 2020, IN SOME CASES 2019. iF a landlord chooses to do this, they cannot come back yelling how the Gov will not let them evict. As the old saying goes " When Shaking hands with the devil, dont complain about getting burn",
Today is "incentive", tomorrow will be government seizure.

I can see individuals working and paying their way but if they don’t have a damn job then no. And that bum smell hard to get out.

I totally agree. And sometimes they have drugs and guns.
Waiving property taxes of the landlord & their tenant's income taxes would be a perfect incentive. Otherwise, no deal!
Yeah so the people who do pay rent can get a rent increase to cover these homeless people. Get the hell out of her.📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!
