which filter was your favorite?
I think the allure because i don’t have it yet 🤣🤎
Hey Nigel. I love how honest you are in this review. I really appreciate when someone shoots you straight and does not try to push a product. Well done man.
I second that
Dude, I feel like this is definitely one of your best reviews yet! I want that anamorphic style filter pretty bad actually lol.
That thumbnail is something else bro, looks sick!
Love the look of the NISI flaring lens- so similar with regards to anamorphic results, and I would hazard to say a cleaner lens flare than I have seen on some anamorphic lenses I have tested 👍
Thank you for your honesty. I like the mist filter.
Just picked up an S5 so might check these out, thanks Nigel!
Good honest review!
is there a way to stack these filters? Like a Black Mist on an ND?
First! Always loved your videos buddy!
Appreciate it!
Pro mist is my favourite
The Nisi pro mist is more muddier. The image is more blurry.
Hello, thanks to share this interesting video. Allow me 2 questions please:
1) Do you prefer to use a good solid ND or a good VND to shoot documentaries in Log 4K? I mean documentaries around the world to shoot cities and people.
2) Why everybody always uses the lens hood to shoot in sunny days, then when guys use a ND filter, nobody use the lens hood anymore? I think it is a bad habit not to use a lens hood with an ND filter. Thank you.
once again, great video. love the short review format and value your honest opinion! btw, is there any way / reason to use more than one filter at the same time? like an ND and black mist?
Yeah totally, I use the pro mist in combination with an ND filter outside all the time to get that softer look!
what camera do you use in this vedio ؟
Hi Nigel. Are you able to stack the ND filter on the mist filter?
its possible yes
3rd view. I like that streak filter.
It’s pretty cool for sure!
Wow
The OC Elevator in that shot?
Yup!
@nigelbarros genuine question. How do yiu make your money. What freelance work do you do the most
I've been taking less and less freelance work recently, youtube is my full-time gig at the moment ✌🏼
but are they the BEST!?
3rd
Just like you, I like all of my camera equipment to be all black 😅
I just think it looks more professional that’s all, no shade to the other companies making multi colored products
@@NigelBarros Same here, nothing against it. Personally, I just think it looks cleaner and it blends in better in most scenarios
2nd view...yeah!
Friends: Don't ever buy the cheap Andoer variable ND filter. A total waste of money.
They have their place for beginners but yeah… higher quality filters are a must when you’re getting into professional work 👍🏻
Love your channel Nigel, and I have subscribed, etc. etc.. ……. BUT……. I’m Still………. waiting for you to answer my previous message/question from your Panasonic S5 video video. I mean, you gave my comment a like, but you never bothered to answer my question?? - THANKS -
Dang sorry about that, comments can sometimes get overwhelming for me and I lose track. What's the question again?
Once again…… Still waiting Nigel….??
@@CalebStayton Dude I'm not gonna dig through 160 comments to find yours haha, sorry but can't you just ask me again here?
@@NigelBarros I did Nigel. The question is right above this. I replied with the question yesterday. So, I am confused??? What did I do wrong? Anyways, I would really appreciate it if you could please tell me which one of the two Canon FD lenses was used the most in all the FOREST footage/shots in your video >> “TONE - Shot on Lumix S5”
