Loved your clean and very articulate playing and LOVE that tone. I started on the same model guitar, it was a new '60 maybe a '61, and must have set my parents back a small fortune because parents got it as a package with a Gibson 5-watt Skylark (given his take home from Bethlehem steel in early 60's). I wish I STILL had both of them! That guitar played a lot of rock gigs 'and some "fake jazz" quartet stuff on weeknights (bass, drums, B3 player, and me - we only did fake book standards/dinner music and not very well - LOL). I lost that guitar because I slipped on some ice at the end of a gig and broke the neck and cracked the top - occurred on one of last gig's before going to USAF. The case was the cheap faux alligator covered cardboard kind, the one that came with the guitar years- yes I should have replaced with a hard(er) case obviously but didn't. I had early-on traded up amps to a Gibson Falcon GA-19 RVT. Now I (mainly) only play jazz and have some great archtops but I still wish I had that ES-125 and the Skylark. About 10 years ago I did find a mint '64 GA-19 RVT I bought for selfish nostalgia reasons! I use an AXE FX III currently Got sidetracked sorry, again loved your playing and tone, thanks.
I have a 1958 ES125T with gorgeous tone from the P90. Very underrated guitar and considered a student guitar when launched by Gibson. Equally importantly, super playing
Sounds fantastic! Clear, full of color and traditional! Reminds me of Grant Green with softer picking... what amp did you use or how did you record it?
Great tone!
Which amplifier are you using? Lovely playing. Just got a 53’ es150. Great guitars. Thanks.
Love your sound!
Loved your playing. If you don't mind me asking what modeler did you use?
Beautiful sound coming from a guitar many underestimate. (Of course, the player is great too!)
♥️
Wonderful playing! Love that guitar
How beautiful sound and your performance!!! Someday I’ll get 125!!
Thank you for treating us to this performance. I can see you've spent much time investing into your craft. Keep sharing your music with the world!
Excellent tone. Beginner's guitar? I don't think so!

Wonderful playing! Very much enjoyed this video! Picking up a 1953 ES-125 on Friday and hoping it sounds as lovely as yours!

Thank you, for clearly playing these great tunes with fingerings that I can sit and copy!

Thanks. I did not use an amp, I ran it through an amp modeller.
Nice!
Flatwound strings or Roundwound?
