This is giving me a flashback, and I've never even done acid before.
The human expression are definitely on my top 5 favorite garage bands
Hell yeah
love that "wet" guitar sound. it was 3-5 years after the genres heyday, but you can definitely hear the surf influence
like refreshing rain creating an optical sound
that's why US garage is superior to the Brit Invasion Beat. The reverberated surf guitar bred with the new English Sounds. It's magical still.
Part of that is the classic tank reverb "clapback", which, as of five or so years ago is fully replicable in a pedal: there's a chain of transistors that can be used for all sorts of hard-to-replicate-digitally analogue effects. But anyway, that's only part of the wetness: I'd love to figure out what else the guitar is using.
@@westvirginiamusichalloffam3394I agree, later stuff like Cream,The Moody Blues,The Deviants,Andwellas Dream,The Hollies, and The Pretty Things once psychedelic got going more are pretty cool though. Not as big a fan of The Beatles either tbh.
still one of the best psychedlic /garage 45's ever made
I agree!!!
you got that right man you got that right
One of the best psychedelic tunes ever played ! What year? 65, 66?

Genius track.
Love The Human Expression and their Psychedelic GaragePunk sound!
Simply awesome. There are times when I "see" colors when I play or listen to music. This song captures that better than any other I can think of. Peace :)
It is called "synesthesia" (US English) or "synaesthesia" (UK). It also happens to me, and somewhat more intensely with some specific psychedelic songs (this one is included). You may have a look here. for a start: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia😎
Well said!
Total perfection if there's a better track out there than this I'm a table lamp
THIS hits the mark as the quintessential garage psych.
Best punk/ psych . Ahead of it's time. My friends early willd child sister had this in early 66 wen I was 8 yr old.
I love this single and the promo version is incredibly intense too, fantastic !!!
Can’t find an upload of promo on youtube. Have you a copy?

Psychedelic, baby.😎✌🏽☮️🎸
So goode 🎸👽🎸
Beautiful.
Bass guitarist was incredible !
Ranks as one of my favourite u.s singles of this genre,
that would be hard to argue against
Brutally Cool! One of my favorite early Psych songs.
What's up with that? That response is pretty stupid.
Y response is that this tune , and group are the best psychedelic group of all, from 1965- to 1967, and beyond!
fantastic
perfect in every way
Quintessential psyche for any collector.
THIS IS SOME TRIPPY SERIOUS PSYCHEDELIC ACID ROCK it's like mind bending man !

@@thomassmith8721 love the early psych ; the best of its kind 100%!
The epitome of psychedelic music , especially r the early/punk / garage tunes.
"Oh, colored pills I've found" turns out he was singing "Alternatives I've found".
I guess that's what you could interpret here with a great psychedelic tune and no lyric sheet, which the Nuggets CD collection didn't come with. No complaint, if I can find a way I'm taking the whole Nuggets comp with and beyond the grave with me.
Me too..I thought it said "all colored pills I've popped"
Thanx utube 4 letting me listen to this after a DELUGE of commercials.
Not my fault. I dont make any money outta this
does anyone know any other songs like this miracle?
Every Night by the same band "Human Expression".
Love it this ones on nuggets !!
What an amazing tune...This is on one of the Pebbles comps, sounds a lot better here!! Thanks Bolt!
great west coast garage
Nothing better than west coast garage sounds. Have many 45s similar to this plus LP compilations of same. Rog. Pacific sunset records.
"vocal with orchestra." Nice.
oh yeah some psychedelic Thunder trippy tune sounds like it could be Boyce and Hart on a trip
Great piece diverse psyche !!
One of my all time favourite psych tracks!
I remember this one being great to do whip-its to back in high school lol
Psychedelic indeed because optical sounds in the mind beyond imagination is what's taking place. Of course it has a bit of the Surf wet guitar sound. But this great song explores other dimensions as well.
Similar vibrations to the Velvets' 'Venus in Furs', but somewhat uptempo. Still sounds futuristic.
Dan Harvey That Velvets song scares me. This is more of a light and easy psychedelic rock song, in my opinion, but I love both tunes tremendously.
@@shannonkinney291 Lou was just singing a ditty about S&M. He didn't have to reassemble his shattered mind like these guys
Just got this vinyl!🎉
We need more surf/psych crossover! Modern surf bands, are you listening?
Maybe
You know man or astroman, they still go crzy

As the light of the sunrise nears
I hate to think what went on in here
Reasemble my shattered mind

Alternatives I found
But they just can't be found
Differations(?) from the cast create and optical sound
Impulses through my brain
But still the thought remains

I would say "diffractions from the cast"
"Deperessions"? Depressions from the cast...
Decorations from the past?
"Alternatives I have", maybe? it kinda rhymes
Amazing & far out record.
This is really nice.
King of acid punk
Sure agree! One of the finest groups of that time! Rog. Pacific sunset records
great band responsible for many top notch garage & psych gems but sadly not known as well they should have been.because this band were special for me sadly the originals are too dear for me to get but this band are in my top 20 garage/psych bands ive ever heard in my life & ive heard many.but this band always stayed with me as do many but no band sounds like this band & thats why i love it they love the old oil can reverb & fuzz with tape echo.then they go at it with the garage fire you love & they turned down the song born to be wild.but the song they did do by mars bonfire was a winner all the way.for me a very special band great post peace...
67❤
Just wow.
Intense
To think this band was ended because one of the members smashed the guitarists hand with a door lodging it into glass somehow severing tendons and arteries. These guys coulda went on to real fame but a stupid accident put an end to it
Fuck it. What they put out is good enough but I get you though
spring reverb
Based
Killer
Far out !!!
I need these lyrics.
Was the Accent label related to the GNP Crescendo label or did I make that up?
ahhhhh muahaha
psych garage
The other side of "LOVE at PSY hedelic velocity"no that?
Where can i find the lyrics? I want to make a cover of this masterpiece.

Mind at Large yo
yeah for putting down the digital vinyl reissues by sony emi & universal i have had my playlists put in an invisible side room if i press library my lists reappear on the left hand side.but if anyone looks i have no playlists they also cut my 10.000 garage punk psych rarities list into 4.8 k so ive lost 4200 gems on that list.i actually left some comments on discogs saying i was gonna start a campaign to stop the abuse of musical history these labels are doing.because every digital vinyl reissue ive compared has had criminal multiple overdubs purely to hide digital tech,s inferior sound spectrum, then 3 days later my account was decimated.im gonna email you tube this has obviously been done deliberately by one of the people that work for sony emi or universal that get paid to block & as ive been told by many dj,s bug up their playlists so each song cuts out to put people off of listening to their playlists.but now ive learned they bug up your account simply for saying the truth.yeah ive been working with so many people doing this & my list had 1.9 million views & after a you tube update i had 1.6 million views lol.but this is sly as fuck i did 18 playlists from over 30 years of searching the small independent labels but i did it all from original vinyl.yeah im really gutted bolt i put so much work into building these lists i feel like ive been violated & to top it off some dj has copied my name the cheeky fucker lol.i sent him a message & he has ignored it.ive got a band name as well but im only gonna use it when i upload more of our jams but its looking good playing hard & feeling it lol.but im noticing bands today steal old bands names so im not using it yet lol peace...
Truly amazing
