    Hey Corey. On the full version of this that I got from you there's a little bit on the outro that I'm confused with. The power chords that start from 12-14 and resolve to 1-3. It sounds badass, but I can't figure out what the 1-3 interval is a part of. It's not part of the blues scale, right? Makes me think we're in phyrgian for that portion since it's the only scale I can think of which has a 2nd a half step above the root (root being 0-2 in this case). Thanks man, your songs are kickass.

      Yeah, notes or power chords at the 1st fret are from the Phrygian. The 3rd fret is found in the Phrygian and Minor scale, as well as Blues and Pentatonic. That etude uses notes mainly from the blues scale with the Phrygian's 2nd degree thrown in for a darker sound.
