Hi Teagan. Good Globular Cluster highlights. I certainly plan on pointing my EON 130mm toward them. Now, if only those clouds would part when the moon is not full!
First to comment and like the video. I really love all your videos. They are all like ASMR. Comfortably listening to and fell asleep with deep sky objects.
Great video, thanks! Clear skies here in Switzerland expected, Friday evening, what better opportunity to try these out? A few nights ago in a moment of megalomania I put my dslr with the stock 300m lens on my mighty Staradventurer Gti and pointed at M101. After stacking fifty 30-sec-lights it was really there with its spiral arms definitely visible! And on one arm there was one bright spot I hadn't seen before! I sent the picture to NASA and they answered "WHOW! STEFAN! YOU FOUND A NEW SUPERNOVA!" (at least that's what I will tell my grandchildren, I'll stick so that story, promise!). Seriously: There is a bright spot, maybe it is the supernova, maybe it's a star in the foreground. Doesn't matter, I enjoyed the night sky, loved the suspense while Siril was doing its magic and really enjoy looking at the result.
For globular clusters a telescope of 12" of aperture or more really enhances the views. A 16" is incredible to look through but an 8" telescope can also show you a pretty cool view. When it comes with visual astronomy - aperture rules!
@@highpointscientific Great info! Wish I had never sold my Obsession 22" Dobsonian. However, I have seen M13 look beautiful through my 6" APO refractor with a stereo ocular. But also in a very dark site. 🔭💖
I captured Mars in the Beehive cluster last night! It was gorgeous! 🤩
“Sad, globular star cluster noises” -M13 😤
Not to mention every major Milky Way Nebula!! That’s what many of us are shooting
What A Wonderful Channel Thank You!

What do you mean by a large telescope?
