- What if the Power Rangers reboot fails?
This is one of the most difficult questions for any company looking to lift a franchise with a reboot because usually reboots are done when what they have is no longer working and this is the case with Power Rangers. There are different options, but the reality is that none have the same potential that a reboot of the franchise and the move to start a series for a different audience can have.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

Listen the only reason why that movie failed was because the people who wrote the movie or made the big decisions did not understand power rangers or their fans. They have to accept accountability they cause the movie to fail

If it fails, it means, just stop already. CGI's and explosions has been over done in the last decade, people are so done with that, especially for a potential new audience
I'd take a Risk in Importing Super Sentai as is, & sell toys under that name, Retiring the Power Rangers name All together.
If the reboot fails they could always bring over SUPER SENTAI unedited.

Okay, we heard at first that It failed, now for what we heard from what it's telling me from after it fails at first it's still alive and there's a chance that Hasbro and Netflix's could make it behind the scenes. But come on Hasbro, if you're going to make a difference with the reboot power rangers shows, then fucking do it! Quit leaving everybody who's a die hard fan like me by saying that it's over and fucking do the right thing!!

you always report about plans for a reboot of power rangers or a new version that doesn't know when it will be broadcast...and all of that is just fantasy!!!
So let's talk about this.
The reboot wants original ideas. However, what original ideas are left? Hasbro will most likely use Sentai as inspiration, which wouldn't be original, just a reserve with new icing. I'm sure fans will know and call it out and probably boycot because Hasbro didn't deliver what was promised.
Sentai has used a lot of themes already, they've even reused themes for new teams.
To back up this reboot (which I don't think is needed) Once and Always could continue for Adult Fans going back to each team and dealing with a new threat, build a soft rebooted universe.
>The follow-up specials must follow a formula that Once and Always gave us (a great loss or losses and the unique journey to defeat the villain that only that team can deliver.)
>The spin off called Power Rangers Grid Archaeology is the adventure to collect the unique energy to bring back Zordon's connection to our universe, not only finding a piece of the energy, but also locating and returning old Ranger morphers (unused Sentai suits) to Eltar to fill the museum (which could become a great IRL attraction) which sparks a condensed series for that ancient team where powers come to retire (like the Zeo MMPR display, but with a model of their zords and Megazords.
>Each Once and Always must have an overall connecting theme that will lead to new teams coming in preparing for a war for Eltar and the universe.
New teams like:
>Medieval inspired Knights that connect to Mystic Force (emerging within their special)
>Rangers inspired by Monsters who gain unique powers that those monsters would have.
>Miltary Strike Force, a team that Zordon locked away long ago for being, the Eltarian we know as Zedd tries to create a team for himself, the infulence of the Dirg growing, but Zordon as First Ranger (Zenkaiger) along with Second Ranger (Twokaiger) stopped him, sealed the team away and were unable to stop Zedd from fleeing (to seek the Zeo Crystals)
>I would like to see Power Rangers going international rather than staying set in the US. Visit the UK, India, Iceland, etc, and bring the Eltar Museum along while filming happens, more jobs, more revenue and this is the best of both worlds.
Iceland: Adgard Rangers.
India: A team based on Indian Deitirs, with unique weapons (where possible)
Those two, for example, can have a history within the universe that mirrors IRL myths and legends.
Monster Rangers, again, another history team that re-emerges in the present day, which uses monsters of the land, air, and sea. The last time this team was used, it managed to save the world from monsters by using seven coloured crystals to act as keys to an ancient lock that removed all Legendary Monsters from our world, but one managed to escape and over the centuries found each key and unlocked the gate, the world is now in darkeness once again.
Super Sentai does have more concepts for Power Rangers. However, I still have hoped that the series will still survive. Even through some harsh changes. Some people might like the series, some people might hate it, I still think it will be great. My parents say that Power Rangers is for kids, but if it becomes an adult related show I’ll still be able to check it out. Here’s to the future of Power Rangers if they make it! ❤️🥰😍🤗😘🤩👍🏻

It was a reboot take of what the Power Rangers would have looked like.They actually made the power ranger's movie until adult The movie didn't fail okay But the sponsors failed the movie
Fail reboot of power rangers i don’t want a reboot at all and I just w anted power Rangers cosmic fury season 4 and hopefully we can get a season 31 of power Rangers but with now the 6 returning cosmic fury rangers and now with a pink cosmic fury female ranger which is going to be me hopefully it’s going to be me aka Raquel Fuentes

The reboot fails it's because the people who wrote doesn't understand Super Sentai where the Sentai Rangers understand the lessons that Sentai Rangers learned

You do realise that Hasbro will use Sentai ideas and try to pass them off as reboot originals. Which I know will happen and I laugh at people who think Hasbro will govebus original teams.

Sentai adaptations are irrelevant because we are not living in the Cable Era anymore.Half of the world knows Japanese Tokusatsu really exist.
