Curt Miller is the epitome of class. He welcomed Dearica Hamby, who Becky Hammon threw out of L.A. because she was pregnant, then played for Curt without missing any games. I'm sure Dearica is thrilled to have a coach who cares about her and all his players. He welcomed her with open arms and kindness. I've never seen this coach get riled up during games or in press conferences. He doesn't tolerate dirty players or bad attitudes. Brink got injured and that stopped her career for a while and lessened this teams chances to win. I think any player would be lucky to play for this team, regardless of their record. You can see how professional two of his players are in this video.

I hear a lot of people saying the Fever are struggling and playing down to their competitions level against the weaker teams they should be smoking. That’s not a fair assessment. The real thing is, the Fever have started playing so well now, that everyone is gunning for them! They elevate their games because everyone wants to beat them. Records don’t mean much on any given night. I’ve seen underdog teams beat the goliaths simply by being super motivated to beat them. Every night the Fever are getting their opponents very best effort regardless of their records.
Her team has figured out that when CC has the ball it can land on their hands at any second. 1st half of the year they were dropping everything, now they are catching on.

It was definitely a terrifically played game by both teams. Never watched WNBA before this year…only the videos of how bad the league was. Boy have things changed. The ball movement of Indiana was on another lever. Boston is proving to be an absolute beast, rebounding and driving to the basket, and getting the ball out to teammates. Fever already have a two head monster at point and shooting guard positions, Smith and Hull are playing lights out, and bench players are strong, strong, strong. I am hooked! I hear a lot of people saying the Fever are struggling and playing down to their competitions level against the weaker teams they should be smoking. That’s not a fair assessment. The real thing is, the Fever have started playing so well now, that everyone is gunning for them! They elevate their games because everyone wants to beat them. Records don’t mean much on any given night. I’ve seen underdog teams beat the goliaths simply by being super motivated to beat them. Every night the Fever are getting their opponents very best effort regardless of their records.
Her team has figured out that when CC has the ball it can land on their hands at any second. 1st half of the year they were dropping everything, now they are catching on.

It was definitely a terrifically played game by both teams. Never watched WNBA before this year…only the videos of how bad the league was.
Boy have things changed. The ball movement of Indiana was on another lever. Boston is proving to be an absolute beast, rebounding and driving to the basket, and getting the ball out to teammates. Fever already have a two head monster at point and shooting guard positions, Smith and Hull are playing lights out, and bench players are strong, strong, strong. I am hooked!

If the Sparks pick up Paige Bueckers in the 2025 draft and with a healthy Cameron Brink, L.A. is going to be a team to be reckoned with and rivaling the Fever. I can already see sell out crowds and L.A. Sparks mania! Hopefully, Paige can handle the physical punishment of opposing players and a grueling schedule.
