I so appreciate how you are handling your baby's privacy in your videos while still featuring your life, with artistically blurred video or conveniently placed play centers. We had our second right around the same time you had your first and are firm that neither has a social media presence until they are old enough to choose it.
Yes, 3mo is all about looking and taking in the world! My lo is 7mo now and the playtime is so much more engaged. Thanks for taking time to make this as a new mama, I know it can be tough to carve out that time. It also gives me an excuse to make time to sit and knit too. Love your content ❤️👶🏻
I feel the same way you do about buying sweaters. It costs more and takes way more time, but the enjoyment I get from picking a pattern and the yarn and all of the memories that get woven in to each stitch are so worth the wait. Every time I pick up a garment I made, I remember what I was watching, reading, and thinking about as well as the time of year and what was going on in my life. It's so much more than the sweaters on a rack can offer.
Your jumper looks great on you and goes well with your hair. Hubby’s jumper looks super. I hope you do finish it in time. Have a super lovely Christmas with little Arthur. A very special time in your lives xxx
Your enthusiasm gave this video so much warmth and made it feel just like catching up with an old friend! Can’t wait to see the finished festival sweater, I might just have to make one for my 3yo. 😍 Happy holidays!
This year I knit my husband 2 hats. I knit them while we would watch TV in the evenings and on Christmas he was completely surprised by them. He asked me when I had the time to make them 🤣
Whatever the color is called it's absolutely gorgeous and my favorite color! It looks so great with your hair ❤ your video made me so happy from the first minute!
December 29 2022: Just came across your lovely channel. The sweater definitely has a red hue but can not notice how close it is to your hair. Yes, new sweaters are a treat. I am so very new with knitting and love hearing that knitting from the top down does make sense. I can not wait to catch up with your past videos. What a beautiful little one you have. Love your hair.
As always, I loved sitting and knitting with you! Thank you for taking the time to record. The festive season definitely gets new meaning with children around. However, my daughter is now three and can really appreciate all of the “magic” and I still feel that it’s way more exciting for me than it is for her 😂
I love the colors you chose for the festival sweater - kind of reminds me of christmas lights! Glad to hear you are enjoying time with your baby during this holiday season!
After 8 years of knitting (only hats and blankets), I’m finally gonna make my first sweater and pair of socks I’m the new year. The whole reason I learned to knit was to make sweaters and socks.
Great to see another video from you! I am powering through gift knits as well - luckily I only attempted wash cloths and hats this year to save my hands!
Hi. New viewer. Love the sweater. It reminds me of cinnamon and red foxes. 🦊 It is a beautiful sweater and it is beautiful on you. It compliments your skin tone very well. ♥ Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. I loved seeing your projects. I am inspired. I am a granny with five grands. My youngest grands are 3 and 18 months. I am knitting hats for them. I want to knit mittens and socks but need to realize I only have a short while to get them finished. I only started knitting again in November after I broke my wrist in a fall last spring. Watch out for slippery surfaces my friends. 😉 I loved your vlog. Merry Christmas.
Loved hearing from you again! I knit on my 6.5 yo son’s Christmas sweater while watching. I did not swatch but sized down on needles and my 6-8 yr size sweater has turned out more like a women’s medium! 😆 He will definitely be able to grow into it.
Great video, I love seeing you so enthusiastic and in holiday mood! 😍🥰 But I miss when you used to say "Welcome or welcome back, if you're new here" when starting every video. just made me smile every time!🤭😄
Merry Christmas Bethany to you and your precious family. So good to "see" you pop up in my feed today. You look great and I would call that sweater cinnamon colored 🤔. Take care and enjoy every moment you can.
I used to knit gifts; I stopped that as it was too stressful. I knit less for myself because I sew, cross stitch, and bake and sometimes tendonitis likes to kick my butt. I love the color of your worn jumper; it is gorgeous. It makes me think of redwood tree bark and deep rust.
I feel the same way about the store bought sweaters, and making my own, but I get sad because it takes so long. OH MY, that little festival sweater is so cute!!!! The baby laugh is everything and they make all the holidays magical. Merry Christmas! All the best, Kimberly
I know it's silly to add to the "debate" a year later, BUT, as a fellow auburn redhead... on video at least, that sweater matches your hair perfectly, so whatever you call your hair color, I would say that is the sweater haha, I vote it is ✨auburn ✨ as a novice knitter I love your knits and chats while I'm learning :)
My 3mo is sorta in the play stage, but it's more like eating toys stage lol. I have a pattern for a hand knit deer for her that I'll probably start after Christmas and maybe it'll be done by next year or her birthday, hopefully that will be a better time for a special toy!
Really love how the sweater looks with the double Sunday! So cozy 💕 I just finished the festival sweater baby a few weeks ago and currently working on the festival dress for both my baby cousin and his big sister! ✨
Loved this chatty video. I sat and knit along with you. I'm definitely in the orangey brown sweater camp, hehe. A rusty red maybe! I'm contemplating a yarn ban/stash busting focus in the new year. Happy holidays!
This is my first year gift knitting and I also have a 2 month old so I decided that the year I have my first child is also a good year to gift knit for the first time as well 😂 luckily though I got all of my gifts finished!! also it’s sooooooo good to see you again!! We miss you !
Bethany in August: "yeeeah guys, imma take off the entire fall and maybe put up one video" Bethany 3 months, later: "we're good, videos each 2-3 weeks". But in all seriousness, it's been fun watching all of those updates as they came out, glad it worked out with the kid. Thanks.
Just came across your channel, and I am excited.. As for the color of your sweater, which is gorgeous by the way, it reminds me of the "red" I have in my work right now, and I would say its more a copper brown/red if anything? if that makes sense? the one I have is more warm, but in a "rusty red" direction.
I Bethany, I really like your patterns (even the „controversial“ sweater in this fabulous color) but I have issues with peeling: Drops Andres is desolving fast. Do you have other big yarn suggestions? I really wonna start knitting socks: Please do a vanilla sock pattern (like petit knit) knit-with-me-and-explaining-the-taff-parts-video. Thanks and happy holidays 🎉
Cheers from Northern CA Bay Area. Your sweater is a beautiful bricky raisiny kind of color way and I haven't seen it before. I love it! But even more unusual is that your hair color exactly matches your sweater color! How did you swing that? Quite a coincidence. A challenging conundrum. My 1st time watching your video and enjoying it. I'm fascinated by your knitting style especially your tension method with your right ring finger. I feel that I can learn from your knitting! Thank you for sharing and adding a very cheery note to our blah winter day! Looking forward to your next video. -Carrie
I love how chatty this video was! Definitely not a tornado! The colors you chose for the striping on the baby sweater are so pretty together! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! 🥰❤️
I got the pattern by hip knit shop because it’s a beautiful sweater! What modifications did you do to the neckline or is that an option in the pattern itself? Unless I ordered the crop version and yours is not the crop version. Edited to say I went back and bought the original north sweater pattern too. 😂
He will Grow into it, and then you can keep the sweater for the next baby in your little family, whether it is your own child or your grandchild! Failing that, there are probably a lot of babies who would absolutely use the living daylights out of it. I don't have a child of my own, but I am doing a lot of yarn destashing making baby patterns to donate to local and international charities so that babies around the world can enjoy them!
I adore that baby sweater and LOVE the one you're wearing! Is that pattern available in English? It looked like it was a Danish (?) company, so I wondered. I still have a hat for my daughter and socks for my son to finish. I've already made and wrapped a hat for my son and socks for my daughter, and a sweater for each of them so they're both getting *something* mommy-made. Trying not to put too much pressure on myself to get them done, especially now that they're home from school for break.
Omg lol I have long feet too and I do not like to show them! I take pictures of my knit socks for IG and Ravelry project pages but I avoid certain angles that make my feet look ugly 😆
I love the sweater! I'm probably late to the convo but as an art student (who makes too many jokes about it) I would say it's a burnt umber? but is that too specific? anyways lovely video!
Bethany I love your videos! ❤️ There is just one thing I should want to mention...the lip smacking/mouth noises are sometimes really triggering 😭 and i have to turn off the video. I really want to watch them but the misophonia is too much! Sorry if that's random, just wanted to make you aware.

Beautiful sweater, looks like a rust color on my screen. It’s beautiful!

Watching you just hulk out and rip your yarn was so incredibly relatable! Have a wonderful holiday.
It's always so fun to knit&chat with you. I love your enthusiasm! All the best to you and your family this season ❤️
Same to you 💗
As always, I loved sitting and knitting with you! Thank you for taking the time to record.

I still vote auburn for the sweater. As far as red vs orange auburn.... I see more orange brown. It matches your hair perfectly!
Great to see another video from you! I am powering through gift knits as well - luckily I only attempted wash cloths and hats this year to save my hands!

sounds like you're keeping your hands real busy!
I love Petite Knits patterns as well. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 😊🎄🎁
Merry Christmas to you!

Nice to see you back, lovely! (From a knitter and mum of a 10 week old) x
Hope you're hanging in there!! Leap 3 was no joke for us haha

Such a good New Year’s resolution :)
The sweater for ur husband is gorgeous! I love all ur videos! Happy Holidays to u and ur beautiful family!
The color of the sweater is "rusty nail"! Great color for you.
Now I want to make it ❤️🫨 I have 3 projects i need to finish but my god that’s adorable 🥰
Tired?
You look absolutely fresh as a daisy. At least on screen.
And I love that your sweater matches your hair. It’s beautiful.

As always, your podcast brings so much warmth and coziness. ❤ Your projects are beautiful. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and your little family. 🎄
It's a lovely sweater! On my screen, it's exactly the same color as your hair!
The sweater your wearing is too cute! I would say it is defiantly a terracotta 🪴but it is so pretty!
Hi there. I really love your jumper, the colour and the style😍.
Do you have a video how to make it….. thank you ☺️
Bethany in August: "yeeeah guys, imma take off the entire fall and maybe put up one video"

I love these so much. Feels like chatting with a friend about my fav thing ever- knitting! PS: the intro for this video was AMAZING!!!
PS keep knitting petiteknit we love to see it!

Welcome Carrie 💗 thanks for spending some time with me!
I love how chatty this video was! Definitely not a tornado! The colors you chose for the striping on the baby sweater are so pretty together! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! 🥰❤️
I would describe the colour of the heavily debated sweater as
cinnamon :))
Can you explain how you knit? I've never seen your technique before. The way you pull on the yarn and barely hold the needle is soo different!
This was a lovely podcast. I wanted to ask, where did you get the project bag in this video? 😊
I got the pattern by hip knit shop because it’s a beautiful sweater! What modifications did you do to the neckline or is that an option in the pattern itself? Unless I ordered the crop version and yours is not the crop version. Edited to say I went back and bought the original north sweater pattern too. 😂
That really is a cute Christmas mug.
Hello from France! Nice podcast! I m in love with your hair color, can you tell me what kind of coloration is it?
Thanks🦊
He will Grow into it, and then you can keep the sweater for the next baby in your little family, whether it is your own child or your grandchild! I adore that baby sweater and LOVE the one you're wearing! Is that pattern available in English? It looked like it was a Danish (?) company, so I wondered. Mom of the year! They are so lucky. Yes, the pattern is available in English lol I would’ve been lost otherwise!
I’d call it “tawny sweater” - that’s the color that comes to mind or maybe dark caramel
A very Happy Christmas to you and your family Bethany xx
Thank you! Same to you 😊
Omg lol I have long feet too and I do not like to show them! I take pictures of my knit socks for IG and Ravelry project pages but I avoid certain angles that make my feet look ugly 😆
Is brown not just.. dark orange? 👀😂
Your project bag is so cute! Where is it from?
I think your sweater is a copper color, much like your hair. Very pretty.
Heheh, I would say that sweater is 100% a burnt (dark brown-ish) Orange!
I love the sweater! I'm probably late to the convo but as an art student (who makes too many jokes about it) I would say it's a burnt umber? but is that too specific? anyways lovely video!
Just specific enough! Lol
Your sweater is cinnamon!
Hi... new sub...you are adorable! Love the knits.
Welcome!!
Happy Christmas to you and your family! ☺ your sweater looks like it's burnt sienna to me
I would say your sweater is a cinnamon or rust color it looks beautiful on you
Какая ж ты красивая,а изделия просто 🔥🔥🔥
💗
How do you store your knitted garments?
That's a rust-orange sweater without a doubt
I’d call the colour of your jumper to be Tan
The sweater is rust colored!
I would call it a rust colour
I find entrelac keeps me engaged in a project.
Ma’am. That sweater is the same color as your ginger red hair. It’s def an orange brown. 😂 Too warm for true gingerbread.
i will respectively say the sweater is a ginger brown 😌
the color is definitely rust! Just inbetween brown and red
I would call your sweater color a rust-colored sweater. Almost like a burnt orange/burnt sienna color.
I‘d say the color is like a rust
If we’re arguing about sweater color, I’ll argue that it looks similar to your hair, which is clearly red. Do with that what you will 🤣
Ok fiiiine 😊
not to be that guy but brown is technically just dark orange
L don’t understand tour site you never give tour pattern just see your pull !
Bethany I love your videos! ❤️
There is just one thing I should want to mention...the lip smacking/mouth noises are sometimes really triggering 😭 and i have to turn off the video. I really want to watch them but the misophonia is too much!
Sorry if that's random, just wanted to make you aware.
I guess that’s just how I talk! Thank you for watching!
"it's not an orange sweater", omg that hit hard *dying*
alright then, it is an "your hair colour" sweater! ^^
Lol! If you’re saying my hair is orange…. 😤🤪
@@WellLovedKnits ah ... didn't think that it would come up like that, sorry
ju gara du wać ju gara du
It's rust,
