Saw this on the road the other day. The driver was wearing a Diadora track suit and Carrera sunglasses. As I passed him I noticed he had one hand on the wheel while pulling some white powder out of a tiny glass vessel giving himself a quick "toot" up his nose to get the full AMG experience.
Had a GLS 63 amg for about a year. The problem with all these staggard tire set up configurations, is the tire wear. Tires needed replacing at about 7500-8000 k. Overall that was the deal braker for getting rid of it. The ride quality changes a whole bunch when the tires started to wear. Granted they were the OE tires.

Bought a ‘23 Dodge Durango Hellcat because of Savage Geese’s reviews. Such a bad ass SUV. I’d say shop the DDHC before paying another $60k + for the AMG. Hell, the Benz is built in Alabama and if you’re going to go with Good Ole USA why not the Durango Hellcat? 🇺🇸🏁

I just think the X7 and Escalade V are simply better than this. X7 on one side of the scale of being an overall better package and the Escalade V if you wanna be Johnny Gold Bars driving with your sun visor down so you can stare at yourself in the vanity mirror. How is the overall fit and finish of the interior in this? I know people have complained about MB losing that quality in the last few generations.

As a car/minivan, it's okay. The drive train is pretty good. But it's just not worth anywhere NEAR what they're asking for it. It amazes me they sell any of these at that price, but I guess there are just that many people out there with more money than sense.
Dont care for the monoblocks but like the rest-especially the interior. Prefer the analog gauges in the E300/400 even more though and thankfully those have depreciated to regular guy/peasant pricing so thinking about one of them next. Maybe another 8 years ill consider grabbing one of these.

Great line, "it's an incredible engine - until you have to fix it", you just don't take your AMG engine to just any mechanic to get it fixed. But I guess if you have the income to be able to afford this vehicle you probably don't care if the engine goes south, lol.

This engine will ensure you will be first to the next red light in front of you and might even save a whole 10 seconds driving to school pickup.
I think the Blackwing engine is way more special and sounds a lot better.
You'll only see this in Naperville, Barrington, or Hoffman Estates

Surprised you didn't mention the SQ7, a fully loaded SQ7 is about $115k and its faster thanks to its Porsche EA825 4.0T V8.
Its tiny in comparison.
That competes against the X5M or the GLE63S, both of which are a lot faster than the SQ7.
