Honestly sometimes it feels like Mojang has a dedicated team that works year-round, just to make the next April's Fools update each year
nah they just dont bug test them like at all making 500x quicker
@@BedwarsTrios bug test does not delays the update that much, the thing that slows down is the Snapshot and porting process.

Because April Fools updates don’t have to go through rigorous amounts of testing and bug fixing.
They can release them buggy and unfinished and it wouldn’t matter because it’s a joke update.

Imagine if this was an actual fuckin update, like this is how Minecraft was from now on. It would completely change the game and cause a bigger community collapse than 1.9
These updates aren't permanent changes to the status quo, so they don't need to spend months quality tasting the features

Changing a game with a pre existing audience this much is asking for failure.
People love to shit on the fact Mojang don't update constantly and talk about how "Mods do it better" but imagine if they actually just implemented mods

I swear Minecraft players are the most brainless creatures on the planet and don't actually want what they ask for (as examined by mob and biome votes)
They should really add a more polished version of the moon dimension to the normal game, but it would be only accessible after getting elytra because you have to fly up to get to it or something, so it’s basically a very lategame dimension that has very strong mobs and a stronger tier of ores and maybe a new boss even stronger than the enderdragon or wither with new loot. I feel like minecraft has so much potential but mojang is limiting themselves.

Objectively the best snapshot in the history of minecraft
It has been added to the game, just behind datapacks. These snapshots usually lay the ground work for technical changes and are cool demos. For the Infinity update, the dimension engine is in the game and allows datapack maker to create custom dimensions in the game.

This is a new type of mining that I’ve personally dubbed Nom Nom mining.
I got to the moon by complete accident by getting a proposal for extra bouncy slime blocks... and they kept letting me jump higher and higher and at height 700 suddenly i got teleported :0 BOOM.
The extra bouncy slime blocks let you bounce a total of ~590 blocks high. I set a slime block down at bedrock and that was the highest I went.
