I've had the 1266 TC for almost two weeks and am extremely happy with it. I have to admit that, before I finally received it, I was slightly concerned about the comfort, fit and the adjustability matters. But, having watched this video a few times before it arrived and reviewing it again after I got it, I have found the TC to be quite comfortable and the adjustability very useful to tune to any particular genre, artist, or track I'm listening to.
It took me a few hours to get the full hang of it and now I "tune" the 1266 all the time without any thought. I much prefer doing this than to adjust the EQ on the Audirvana app or pick up the remote to change filter settings on the Hugo TT2. It's much quicker and more effective at the same time.

Does the placement fixes the peaks on the Treble?

Probably meant her voice strength vs that voices placement alongside instruments mix.

I recently had a chance to try Diana Phi, but my head seems to be too wide for their headband. They get stretched beyond vertical 90° and the bottom part of earpads doesn't seal. Tried to rotate the earpads in all 4 positions. Any solution to this?

you dont want the pad to seal for phi, it will kill the bass impact

Who cares how they look, they're on your bloody head. People who care how headphones look are idiots.

I would wear a giant rubber bull cock on my head if it sounded like the 1266. Then again, I don't even look in the mirror before I leave the house so what I look like alone in my house means absolutely nothing to me. These look strange but function... Function is the name of the game here. My whole life follows that thinking. If you care how you look alone in your listening room, not in public even, these aren't for you. Lol. Get the Diana. They are more fashion-y.

@@mattgrover3096 I don't think that was the question- the question was CAN you make them look less ugly from an engineering stand point similar to the Verum 1 with those ridiculous headbands they may have LISTENED to some customers instead of made fun of them for asking a simple question-I think you can have BOTH good looks and good engineering - no reason to look like a dufus

@@JMAudioEditions These headphones rest on your ears, they need the metal brace above the headband to be able to do so.
So no, unless you want to colour them in with Sharpie, or cover them in glitter, this is how they have to look.
They are open backed home-use headphones and they sound phenomenal, if you can't look past the less than Gucci design, that's your loss.

Thanks for the blunt reply, engineering can not fix it they are what they are and built and designed with reason - function over form and no other solution known to man
