I'm going to have to say that I love flowers, but one of my favorites have been sunflowers ever since I was young. I live the color yellow, and who doesn't like something as bright and lovely as the sun! I hope you continue to make videos because they are great and I'm pretty sure anyone who comes across them would love them too! Thank you for your wonderful videos!
Oh my gosh. I was watching you talk about the ones that bubbled up thinking "Oooh, I'd like to have that bubbly one." My favorite flowers are the lilacs that come from the lilac bush outside my back door. We have two bushes. One is dark purple and the other more light/lavender which is my favorite color. We clip them in the spring and bring them indoors because they smell amazing and add that pop of color wherever we put them. They also remind me of my mom because she loved them too and used to pick lilacs from these same bushes.
When you are mixing the resin you want to stir slowly because stirring quickly allows air bubbles to form that's why you had so many. Also once you pour the resin in the bowl you can use a lighter to pop some of the air bubbles ( before it hardens )
Actually you just need a little warm up , you can even use a hair dryer to make the air in the bubble being lighter so it will naturally want to go up , just apply a bit of flame on the surface it will pop out like your soap foam with your finger
You are correct about not stirring too quickly. A light tapping on the sides of the mold or a bit of shaking, also helps release the bubbles that are trapped at the bottom, allowing them to surface where they can be popped with heat.
This craft is amazing! I've never worked with resin before so now I'm super inspired to see what else I can do with it. I'd love to try it with dried Violas (tiny pansies) as they are my favourite flower - I just adore their sweet big purple and yellow faces!
My favorite flowers are probably dahlias. They look so full and beautiful, but they also have an almost ethereal, otherworldly quality because they have such a unique look.
My favorite flower is the calla lily. This flower is very unique in its own way. The calla lily comes in a couple different colors. I sure think this flower stands out the most from other flowers.
I love hydrangeas because of their nice blue or pink colors and the occasional yellow stars that form in their centers. They also look nice because if the fact that they form in bunches.
My favorite type of flower is a pink rose! My grandmother loved them. She had pink rose bushes all over her house before she passed away about a year ago. Now I take care of them.
My favorite kind of flower is a lily. Lilys are my favorite flower because it reminds me of my mom, they are beautiful when they bloom, and they are so pretty in the summer and spring
A tip is that before you add the flowers, use a lighter to pop all the bubbles in the resin if you prefer having a "clearer" resin piece (: if you don't have a lighter, use a straw and manually blow out the bubbles ♡
Hey, Ray. Hydrangeas are pretty rad. I wonder if it would make a difference if you dried the small flowers longer. I have some that I dried back in high school and I feel they're too delicate to take out of the books I've pressed them in. Maybe this way I can finally display them.
I love all sorts of flowers, and I'm really indecisive, so I don't actually have a favorite flower, but maybe deep red carnations, or light purple lilacs.
If you coat the flower or what ever your putting in the resin and make sure all the cracks are filled, the air bubbles wont be there, so try glazing or coating it before putting it in the rest of the resin
hey crafty crafty. I work with resin at times with my wood working projects. just a little tip the next time you do resin work. you might want to get a blow dryer or a heat gun and go over it for a couple minuets after you pour your mold. the hot air helps to pop the bubbles
This is way too cool! I'm totally going to try this! Awesome idea! & since I'm here and commenting, my FAVOURITE flower is a Camellias. They're so beautiful. I'm also already subscribed to you & your awesomeness and I liked the video! :) keep up the great content!
False dandelions Hawksbeard flower heads and ripe seeds are sometimes confused with dandelions. Many similar plants in the Asteraceae family with yellow flowers are sometimes known as false dandelions. Dandelions are very similar to catsears (Hypochaeris). Both plants carry similar flowers, which form into windborne seeds. However, dandelion flowers are borne singly on unbranched, hairless and leafless, hollow stems, while catsear flowering stems are branched, solid, and carry bracts. Both plants have a basal rosette of leaves and a central taproot. However, the leaves of dandelions are smooth or glabrous, whereas those of catsears are coarsely hairy. Early-flowering dandelions may be distinguished from coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) by their basal rosette of leaves, their lack of disc florets, and the absence of scales on the flowering stem.[11]Other plants with superficially similar flowers include hawkweeds (Hieracium) and hawksbeards (Crepis). These are readily distinguished by branched flowering stems, which are usually hairy and bear leaves.
Generally with finicky items like this it's best to hand coat them at the centre with resin before putting them in the mold, to stop bubbles forming. I'm not sure how you can do this without damaging them.
My favourite flower is the Lilac because most people think that the pedals are only only colour "Lilac Purple", But under a special microscope, It's actually about 50 different shades of purple
I just discovered a flower that has a name as charming as its appearance, therefore it is my favourite: The Corpse Flower. Blooms once every few years, has a stench that is described as rotting flesh which attracts carrion eaters and is known as the world's largest (and arguably ugliest) flower. Yup. If there were ceremonies for bitter, ugly divorces, these would be used as the bouquets xD
Thanks for this video. Never thought of doing something like it, but I definitely want to try it one day. My fav flower are the Asian lilies with the nice aromas. I;m waiting for some of mine to blossom right now
I'd have to say that my favorite flowers are - valeriana rossa (centranthus ruber) -sun flowers - or bleeding hearts (lamprocapnos) I always thought that they were kinda unique and different than other flowers so I took a liking to them
Those flowers look more like Sow Thistle...? Dandelions are usually only one flower per stem. A great project though for a flower-presser like me. Thank you for sharing.
My favorite type of flower is a tulip because they come in different colors and my favorite color of a tulip is yellow because it is bright like the sun!!!P.S I loved the video!!!
Well I have a few just because these flowers are from very important people who passed away these flowers were on their caskets rose, (for my grandmother) sunflower, (for my grandfather) Lilly, (for my uncle) and lastly a daisy for my miscarriage that I had I even have a tattoo of these flowers on my right shoulder.
Even though they aren't naturally formed, rainbow roses are awesome (That might make for a really cool DIY project too). Also, what's a UA-cam inbox? Do you mean gmail since google automatically signs you up on most of their services with a google account?

Hahaha. Kentucky has an EXCELLENT bank of these things. They're literally everywhere grass is.
Generally with finicky items like this it's best to hand coat them at the centre with resin before putting them in the mold, to stop bubbles forming. I'm not sure how you can do this without damaging them.
Easy cast is only supposed to sit for twelve hour in a well ventilated area and take a lighter to pop the bubbles
