The Division 2 Year 6 - Big Things Have to be Coming!

- The Division 2: Yesterday it was announced that at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th, The Division 2 will be announcing their plans for year 6 of the game which is due to start very soon after. This has got me very excited and I explain why in this video and also discuss what I think they could be planning. What are your thoughts on this and what do you want to see in year 6 of The Division 2?

I'd like a PVE DZ or maybe a refresh to Summit adding exterior levels.
Without Redstorm nothing like that is going to happen.
A rerun of all the season would be good for players that are new to the game. I enjoyed it when they did it before. It's a must need.
You can rerun the Manhunts. I know it is not the same but finally, it is something.

They should make an exotic backpack where you can carry 2 exotic weapons.

A new raid will only impact a specific portion of the player base. I feel the majority of people who don't play raids won't care so basically are being ignored. Never a good idea to ignore large sections of your users.
I think they have made it very clear they are focussed on the majority with the incursion and fan base friendly content sincre the last raid. It doesn't mean they shouldn't do one though. They can do both if they wanted to 👍
I'm thinking that maybe we could see a trailer for the Brooklyn DLC, I can imagine that this has already been filmed (as it was due this upcoming season originally) so they could easily put that out and it's 'big' for the UbiSoft Forward event?
Then, they give us some more information on the next season, maybe bit more of a roadmap?
Either way, I'll be happy with whatever they do. They seem passionate enough to be doing things that the community would want and they seem excited by it so I'm looking forward to it ☺️

I am guessing a new incursion too. If they have a raid in store, they would probably save it for the DLC. Also, now that heartlands is out of the picture I am really hoping to see some form of teaser for a Division 2 Survival game mode either in Year 6 or the new DLC.
The Division 2 team whoever they are have to deal with lackluster support from Massive even though the game sold more than any other game from Massive or Ubisoft ! Has a LOYAL player base and we will support the game to all ends but they keep failing us ! Hopefully we get Div 3 and they separate PVP and PVE so the gear won’t effect the other and it would allow them to sell two separate units PVP and PVE and get double the amount……
I'm expecting NEW WEAPONS, GEARS, APPARELLS, MORE CHARACTER CREATION OPTIONS, NEW FACTIONS, NEW STORYLINE
I don’t care about global events, leagues, manhunts, apparel events, loot inflation and modes. I want a game development that focusses on the game I bought, means enriching the DC and NY map with missions and open world activities.
Introduce Exotic weapon attachments so we can modify Exotic weapons. This would give us more new gear to grind for as well as helping to get more interest in unloved Exotics.
Be cool if they had broken the weapon talents down in to categories eg. Damage/utility and then introduced something (maybe an exotic) that allowed you to have one of each type by combining the talents from both your primary and secondary weapon. So you could run, say, optimist and preservation or strained and stabilize on both guns.
Well i just saw that the chinese version of the game is getting new legendaries and other new locations so theres that for me to envy.
How can get into raids for the eagle bearer im a returning player and really wanted the eagle bearer
I would personally like more incursions raids are just to hard to get people to run it consistently
It's not that they are too hard. It's just that playing with randoms who do not take Raids seriously, inform themselves about raid walkthrough and rush unconsciously into death, is a total waste of time and can lead to a group wipe .
I still want a NATIVE current gen console version of the game...like just higher settings for PS5.....I know they talked about not doing it because then you can't play with PS4 players which I find weird that they can't make it work for some reason.
I'd like to see a gear set for pistols and it better not be screwed up like the rifle gear set that's about to hit the ground . And they better not sneak in MMR's AGAIN .

I can see them releasing a trailer for the DLC as well as a new incursion like mentioned earlier in the comment section which would be awesome. What I hope doesn't happen is that they relegate it to a very small segment of the event to focus on AC and SW.
I personally think a small segment is likely as they will want to focus on upcoming releases more. Just happy they decided to include it at ubi forward. I remember last year or another year people were unhappy that it never got featured at all.

I would like to see an incursion or raids. at least an incursion for each faction in div2, that's my wish list. Plus maybe a level increase to give something to grind. Like in Div1 the gave us prep work for div2. if the game is reaching its climax prepping dare i say for div3 would be good as well.
Make the whole game pvp with pve 100 players online at same time..doing missions and running into pvp at the same time would be awsome D3

An incursion that leads into the Brooklyn DLC would be pukka, maybe you gotta do something to get access to, or get across the bridge? Although I second the comment around a new BP with double exo weapons (or make it a new specialisation). Exotic - St Elmos

A new incursion would be nice. Since getting the Ouroboros i haven't gone back to the incursion at all...no need to for me. Is there another unannounced exotic that would be hidden behind a new incursion...? I know this is a pipedream but i would like to see matchmaking on the Normal raids. I still have not done the Iron Horse raid and i have 3100 hours into the game. My clan is small and i don't have a "raid" group. I know there is discord but to me that is just an extra step I really don't want to have to deal with.
What about a Darkzone for New York...? or perhaps a new mission? New hunter(s)? There is a lot to speculate. But i do hope they add something as it will a long year until the DLC is released...perhaps the roadmap has been updated and they will surprise us with the DLC drop as originally intended. That would be nuts. Lots of wishful thinking for this agent. LOL.

My prediction is that the DLC will be brought forward, maybe if this happens, the next season will be delayed 1 or 2 more weeks... it's just a feeling. Because history requires it. It could be an exception that we have 2 filler seasons, based on some secondary story that has not yet been exploited, or secondary bosses without much importance, like General Anderson, who perhaps Sokolova no longer needs it. There is also the outcast that has been captured at the Potomac mission, and was later released when they attacked Casablanca. There we would have the next 2 bosses, as long as the DLC comes out in March. I am also positive, and this last time we have had more than we could expect, although it is still a taste of little... they owe us much more, so the path goes that way and they know it, greetings G!

I fear till the DLC Sumner next year (?) there will be no new playable content, perhaps another mode but that’s it. Nothing for the main game.
That Yanick "post video wrap" clip was 100% staged. It's a bit insulting that they make content targeted toward adults and then pull crap like that as if we're five year olds waiting for Santa to come down the chimney.
It was obviously staged yes.... its a way of teasing... letting us know there is something to come without actually telling us because they cant yet. I don't personaly have an issue with this at all and don't see how it is insulting in the slightest. Each to their own though
@@GCROCK It's insulting because it's the kind of middle school comment you use to bluff your classmates into thinking you have something up your sleeve when in reality you've got nothing at all, you just want to keep the attention from going anywhere else. In Yannick's case, this has been evidenced by the continual disappointment since Proj Res dropped where we've had nothing but more bugs, cancellations, delays and ZERO meaningful follow-up.

After 2400 hours of playing i decided to done with this game .. Is no more what to do there and the game is extremely died .. Only few thousands play the game today . they most realese the division 3 or just let the community totaly die and forget the exist of the divison franchise .
