According to the Pandits or Pujaris, Lors Shri Ram, Laxman and Goddess Sita stopped by this refuge during their banbas. At that time Laxman had drawn something there by his bow, after that Sikharchandi appeared there. Earlier it was known by Laxman chandi temple then changed to Sikharchandi temple. This temple is on the top of hill and it's best known for picnic spot.
