The Lens Distortion ... will be corrected internal by software. In former times a perfect zoom lens - was almost physical free of distortion. Since the old lens pz 18-105mm f4 g oss i checked that - the distortion was physically crazy. in that case it is much easier to built a zoom lens like that. "the amazing thing" is that the software to the job in realtime.

But for a lot of people who own and still use non full frame E, and have lenses, I hope Sony gives them a gift for their loyalty. Higher MP, 4k60 without a crop (or 4k60 PERIOD), New menu, to name a few. I think it is time.

@@microsofttechsupport3622 you can't ude them in full frame mode, just in super 35/crop mode. Therefore it will be a 10mm aps-c or 15mm full frame equivalent. If you try to use them in full frame mode, they'll work, it's just that it will look as if you'd look through a pipe. You'll see the black bits around the frame.

Bunch of new APS-C lenses. Tell me if I am wrong, but I sense new bodies inbound to use them on.
Love to see a new aps-c body with a larger pixel count, maybe something like 32mp. This also means aps-c is not dying or dead, as I feared.

Yes they do. If not mistaken, you're getting a 22mpx sensor in super 35.

My 1018F4 is a tad soft. If only this 1020F4 has OSS as many APSC cameras lack IBIS. This is great with a6600 with IBIS.
Sony might release a new APS-C soon tho :D Hope its 10bit
