May I add one more? My kids used to love this, still do. Grate 1 small beetroot, 1 large onion. Pound together 1 inch piece ginger, 4-5 flakes of medium sized garlic, 2 non-spicy green chillies & a pinch of salt. Make a puree of 4-5 red tomatoes. In a pan/kadhai, put 4-5 tbsp of ghee. Add jeera &; a slit green chilly. Add the grated onions. Stir fry on medium -high flame. When slightly translucent, add the beetroot and stir-fry. Add the ginger-garlic mix. When the ghee starts separating, add turmeric, chilly powder, roasted jeera powder, roasted dhaniya powder, salt to taste. Stir-fry on low flame for 2 minutes so that everything blends together well. Then add the tomato puree. Mix & cook the gravy on high flame for 2 minutes before lowering it to medium flame. Cover & cook till the gravy is done. Add the fried paneer. Cover & cook the gravy for another 2 minutes on low flame. Add half a tsp of powdered dalchini & cloves powder, a tbsp of butter. Mix well. Sprinkle chopped green coriander & serve. the tomato puree.
