January 11 2014 it was 7deg below 0 where i live off grid 2 pulls it will start, i use primium fuel have to for regular is usully full of water, i use mistery oil and chemtool in the gas, picked mine up for $200,new used, wouldnt run, pulled the carb, cleaned it added a small fuel filter got from a chainsaw shop, runs perfect, buy one used expect to clean the carb, people use it back in the box for a year or 2, dont run out the gas, cant figure why it wont run, go figure
Just bought one in June 2022 and noticed some changes in the instruction manual. One change was that yours says for oil: 10w-40 and mine says 10w-30. I'll have to get a new spark plug; thanks for bringing that up.
Been thinking about picking one up. The predator gens have been getting good consumer reports reviews. I have the same compressor. Frickin’ whisper quiet!
@Jared hello..that ngk plug doesn't come with the top piece that screws on the threads.the piece that th plug wire snaps on to....do you have to buy that separately? All plugs usually come with it..
I got the ngk spark plug, didnt have top on the plug had to get the autolight plug

Not much difference in the oil . I'd run either anyway.
Great point about the spark plug! I just picked up one and it has a miss. Haven't pulled the plug yet, but I bet a new NGK will fix that.
Run an ngk and just regular fuel and they won't miss. I've had the same miss on premium.

NGK 7840 CR5HSA has a treaded terminal stud.
NGK CR5HSB 6535 is the correct plug to use

Think it would run a 1500 watt heater by chance? Thanks for the help
It idles at 1600 watts
It's 2000 watts peak and 1600 continuous watts
What about full synthetic motor oil? Getting harder find regular oil.
I run synthetic
@@Broddi169 think it would run a 1500 watt heater by chance? What oil synthetic weight are you using? Thanks for the help.
@@DerekRC yes it would run it. I've run 5w 30 and 10w 30 in it.
Will this bee good for engine heater 1500w
I will run it
Is that the replacement spark plug that it's called for?
It's what I put in the replace the cheap plug. It's the right ngk plug.
Will it run a small window A/C unit
