- Financial turmoil continued to unfold in south suburban Dolton Thursday after a bank said the village failed to make a payment of more than $76,000, which may result in village police cruisers and other vehicles being repossessed.

The cost of the vehicle is only half of the cost. All of the aftermarket equipment(lights, siren, cameras, cage, radios, etc) that is installed can easily add up to $30-$40k per vehicle. What a mess.
All the add ons have to be removed and returned. Whether they are removed the right way or not is another matter.

Yep... Feds... They will use the local PD who are getting all of the overtime to hem her in and roll on her in exchange for immunity from prosecution or lesser pleas. That's why the geo fencing is important. They falsified their timesheets. The geo fencing will show where their phones were. Other software (not sure how much I can disclose of the technology) will get video of their vehicles driving in the areas revealed by the geo fencing.
The cops who are doing a lot of her dirty work (she's even used them to threaten locals) are the string that will be used to unravel her. It can take about 9-12 months to pull the subpoenaed data together.
Remember, with local cases, the police arrest, then the prosecutor builds their case. In federal matters, the court case is completely built, then the arrest is made. When they show up and secure the premises, all the evidence will have been gathered. Watch... It will probably take until about mid-Sept. for the investigation to become public. You have time to get the 🍿 and 🥤.
