Amazing job ! First romanian guy that I saw doing a top board swap . I know how difficult that is. Anyway a few tips...when removing cpu from donor you don't have to care about the cpu it's about the board and pmic...air flow is crucial and 380C is way too much. It's your tools and you know the 'feel' of them I'm sure and the spacers when reballing the boards...why removed them? I saw everybody on yt wick them. If you have bent boards they are crucial again and they help alot. Just my 2 cents. Felicitari !
Thanks Adrian for your thoughts! I am sure there's plenty of Romanians doing these swaps, but probably they are not posting it. I do this mainly as a hobby, started micro soldering back in September 2022. About the temps, I have decided not to share these information when doing core board swaps as indeed, working with CPU is all about the feel and technique. When I first started cpu swaps I have used various methods found on the internet with very low success... but I have indeed started to develop a feel about what is going on with the boards and parts and that is crucial. I have now indeed 100% success rate now for A12, 14 and 15, but I have stopped posting videos about it as I have realised they will bring no benefit to the viewers. It's just a skill you need to practice and acquire at some point.
hello, I have faulty top board on X. If I do up board swap, will the phone works (100%) with icloud, wifi and sim? Or is it only for data recovery, thank you.
The phone will work fine if you swap the cpu, logic eeprom and nand over a donor board. However, this is a last resort because swapping the cpu is not an easy job and it’s quite risky. Are you sure the original board can’t be repaired? Also, the core board swap is more expensive than the phone if you don’t do it yourself
Thanks Boss for great detailed video❤🔥🔥

Hello...my ip12 stuck at 0.140amp after on...what the problm..?
Difficult to say… is it the same if you split the boards? You need to start checking the power lines. Zxw has all you need including schematics
