Chance tightened the radius of the corner to take Deegans line, hence why he ended up sliding and having to dab. Was the dab intentional, no, but he did tighten up the corner to force Deegan to lift.

I agree with you. If Hymas wasn't trying to turn tighter into Deegan at 1:12, he wouldn't have lost the front end. The bikes to his left and right are still holding the same turn radius, but out of nowhere, Hymas turns his bike tighter than both of them, just like last time. This sport has a way of correcting itself, and his choice caused him to have to stick his leg into another riders tire. I do think he was trying to cut into Deegan. Why? because he did the exact same only a couple of races back. Nobody want's Deegan out front, and I get that but it seems like Hymas is trying a bit too hard to slow Deegan down by the first turn, and so it cost him. So yea, it was just a racing incident and next time I'd be a bit more concerned with keeping my line and not trying to pinch the first corner so tight that nobody else can make it through it without crashing. How many riders paid for that mistake? Too many.
Look at 1:10, then 1:11. ONLY Hymas try's to turn so tight that he starts to slide and has to stick his leg out. Accident or deliberate we will never know, but it WAS a mistake, and it cost way too many riders to have a bad race and all of them to risk injury. That is the fastest they go on that track and the worst time to try to change your line with bikes so close to you. I never had a first turn pile up, I was lucky, but more than that, in 8 years I never caused a rider to fall due to my changing lines rounding the first turn.
