- This is my first stream without a wig! We continue building the new custom neighborhood in Sims 2. All apartments are done and our first Sims are moving in. This is part 1/2 due to a crash in the middle of the stream (my mistake)!

I just found out in the Sims Wiki that turning off the apartment base building restrictions with the cheats is bad... and I was about to give that advice to you. So glad I found out about that before giving you that advice!
Yes, I try not to do that! I've found it's better to just rezone it to residential!
@@PleasantStreams I've learned a lot about better simming from you - from things like subcategories instead of subfolders to how to run the game on newer machines, to the cheats that are best NOT used. Sometimes there's a reason for certain building restrictions, I guess XD

I'm not even two minutes into this stream, but I am SO down for Nutly. Nuttly? Nutley?! I don't know why, but it is just one of those random things that is so weirdly satisfying to my ears, all knut/nut jokes aside.
Also some day, _some day_ I am going to catch a stream live. But I am in the same time zone as Cindy and, with absurd insomnia, these streams are at too reasonable a time for my whack-ass sleep schedule!

That’s a really weird but cool looking UI, I didn’t even know you could get mods to change the UI.

Maybe the crashes happen because the game has to render all the trees from the neighborhood? I remember there being a lot around the mountains, so they might take up your memory. Happens to me at least, so I reduce my view distance (although I am not playing from a powerful computer like you lol)

that was the first way i played the sims 2 growing up, i loved those games so much!
Cindy, I think you'll need to aply the 4gb patch to your game again. Maybe the game start crashing that way
