Pogo Poge (Morgan Branch White)

Few DJs were as wild on the air or as popular as KIMN's Pogo Poge was in Denver in the 1960s. His stunts (including broadcasting several days in a pit of poisonous snakes) and a wacky persona contrasted with his mild mannered Mormon life off the air. He later appeared on TV as Pogo on KGMB in Honolulu's "Checkers and Pogo" show, created along with fellow BPC Hall of Fame Jim Hawthorne.
