NBS mast antenna lowering/raising with cordless drill

  • Drill battery died towards the end but by hand it takes around 90 seconds to wind up but wit the drill only it takes around 30 seconds.

    the only thing i dislike on them is that they do not lock when the antenna go's up there every thing is on the cable and if it lets go then well you know what is going to happen DANG

      I share your concerns, Steven. The only option seems to be to lower the entire mast and then lock the carriage in place. I think this would be too hard on the hydraulic jack though!

      Hi there. I went to bunnings and bought a 21mm socket and a 50mm 1/2 inch socket adapter for the drill. Total cost of $10.95AUD.
