Just caught a show at The CNE in Toronto, and love this guy. Seen him with Default back in the day. Guy puts on a great show. Country is his thing for sure
Used to seeing as a rock artist. He does sound good as a country artist. And these days whenever I see some of the musicians of some of these country artists, not sure if I'm watching a country band or a rock band.
I'm not a country fan, but this Dallas Smith guy from Default (one of my favourite bands) has made me a convert! This song just fires on all 6 cylinders!
Seen him at my college's frosh fest and was blown away!! I couldn't believe I never heard of him before. Didn't even know he used to be in Default band.
Dallas, welcome to country! Loved the music of Default, and was glad to find you as a country-artist. Not bad for a Canadian! A little Keith Urban (Australia) effect going on ... hah! Keep it up, it's great.
This feels the most Dallas Smith I have heard in awhile. I just wish he was allowed to truly belt at some points. He has such a higher range of vocals that a track like this could have had an epic last chorus! Still I actually really enjoyed this one! Looking forward to more!
I live in Oregon and never heard of this guy can anyone out there recommend any others with the same sound? Our country stations here just play the big names
